We followed him to his business and have been pleased with the service and prices. The retail area has some great brands of food as well as quite a few other items such as toys and leashes. Can't imagine how anyone has ever had a
bad experience. Kevin is a great groomer, knows the breeds and their normal cut, but then lets you describe how you like it instead. We have a king charles
cavalier spaniel, like to keep the hair shorter than normal, and our dog always comes home happy and cute as can be.
Plus if you shop local, give business to small business owners, Kevin should be your groomer.…
Great for friendliness, Wonderful for grooming. We have two long haired black cats. We used to go somewhere else and were satisfied by the grooming. That place was booked one weekend and we really needed one cat to be shaved (anyone with an overweight furry cat knows!). We found Kevin and Friends and called. They were able to squeeze us in. They were really friendly and did a wonderful job. The price was reasonable. We are definitely going back. In addition, we had to have the other cat go in for a quick trim in the backside and they allowed us to bring her in and do the trim while we waited. I don't normally write reviews (signed up to do this one), but I felt this place needed a great review because I have been so pleased.…
Careless effort.. This guy Kevin was voted best groomer in Denver and came highly recommended when we moved here in May of 2010. I've had my dog there 3 times. 1st time he did a great job, 2nd time was mediocre but okay, then today it looks like he gave a kid the scissors and put him to work on the head & ears: all uneven, frizzy, split ends, tufts sticking out of one ear and not the other...poor doggie looks like a poster child for "How quickly can I get this mutt's haircut done?"…
I would go somewhere else.
I just took my dogs to this grooming shop for a quick clean up of their lower legs, paws and toenails.
Kevin was very nice. However, I found that they were somewhat pushy on selling the dog food that they had in the adjacent store, the shop itself seems very disorganized and somewhat dirty, and my dogs now have "poodle feet" when I explicitly said that I did not want their legs cut that short.
On top of everything else he wanted to charge me $10 more than any other shop that I have gone to to get this done. When I asked why the price was so much higher, he did not have a good explination other than saying that the shop that I took them to before (and where he came from) was run by a crook.
If you're looking for a nice guy with a business that seems super dubious - you're in the right spot. Otherwise, you might want to go somewhere else. I will definitely ge going somewhere else next time!…
