Great food, bitchy waiter.
LOVE THE FOOD!
NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE.
Unfortunately, one of their waiters thinks he's better than everyone.
Nothing That Great.
Their drink special is a joke. They double the prices and then say that it's "buy one, get one free."
Anyway, we went the other night. As usual, there was NO HEAT.
We might come back in the summer. This place was cold!
Stole a $30 gift card from me!!!.
A good friend gave me a gift card for $30 to eat there. We had a good meal, but they would not accept the gift card and made us pay full price for our meal.
They stole the $30 from us. They can't be trusted. Good food, but very very poor management.
My new favorite place for take out or eating there.
I either order delivery from or eat at L'asie atleast every other week. Everyone I've taken there has loved the food as much as I do and we all often times having cravings. The portions are great for the price, large enough to expect leftovers for lunch the next day.
The service can sometimes be a little slow but friendly. Try the egg rolls.
decent mulit-asian, but order to-go or eat downstairs.
We've been to L'asie for lunch a number of times and really have had no complaints. They do a good job with a variety of differing Asian cuisines and their service has been fine. We've also had dinner delivered to the house and was never less than pleased.
However, we just ate there for dinner and it appears the kitchen's exhaust system is either inadequate or malfunctioning, and we got the distinct impression that they don't plan to do anything about it. For the first time we were seated on the upper level of the restaurant rather than the lower, entrance level. As the evening progressed, the room started to slowly fill with smoke/exhaust from the kitchen. Eventually, it got to the point of looking like a smokey bar and several people from our party had to excuse themselves to go out side- so their eyes would stop burning from the fumes. I happen to be an occasional cigar smoker, and even I was bothered by the exhaust in the room. When we mentioned the smoke to our waitperson, her response was a "yeah, that happens sometimes.", with no real concern for the situation. We may order deliver from them again, but doubt we'll ever go back for a meal in their dining room.
Very Poor Service.
I went there with a small group. There was only one other table in use, but the waitress ignored us. After 10 minutes, we left and went to Crazy Asian.
They didn't ignore us there, and dinner was great.
At L'asie Fusion Bistro, we didn't receive bad service. It was NO service. Awful.
Best Pho in Denver!. Pho is my all-time favorite food and L'asie's pho exceeded my expectations. The broth is perfect - full flavored and not too oily. They do not skimp on the meatballs and meat included in the soup either. Their combination vermicelli is also great. Everytime we have guests from out of town we take them here and they always love it. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or a nice night with your friends. Their wait staff is very attentive and their prices are hard to beat. I love this restaurant and I go there at least once a week! I highly recommend L'asie to everyone!
tasty tofu - I had thought it impossible.
I went to L'Asie this Saturday night and tried a spicy beef dish with a mix of brocolli, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, carrots - siracha, sriracha (?) - I'm not sure of the spelling or the origin but it exceeded my expectations. I generally hate tofu with a hate reserved for taxes, but I was convinced to try their sweet and sour soup and the savory spice eliminated any hint of gunky bean curd. In fact with gazpacho probably a new soup favorite.
The service was unstinting and cheerful, and it turned out to be a great place for a date - lively but at the same time easy to carry out a conversation.
Excellent Everything.
I generally judge Asian restaurants on three basic dishes: combination fried rice, sesame chicken and the crab cheese wontons. Both the sesame chicken and wontons were outstanding, but the combination fried rice... is the best I've ever had ANYWHERE. It looks odd every time I return to this place with friends, and, out of the expansive menu, I order the all-too common combination fried rice... not the Thai Drunken Noodles, not the Teriyaki Beef Bowl, not the Black Peppered Rib Eye... the combination fried rice. Throw in a Gingerita (a ginger-tasting margarita), and it's good times. The wait staff pampers you and the cooks are willing to make your dish as hot, salty or less spicy as you want as well.
Great place.
Our new favorite in the neighborhood!. Food was excellent and very friendly service! I loved the wide variety of options - vietnamese, thai, chinese, and some "fusion" dishes. The prices were very reasonable considering how good the food was. This place escaped our notice for over a year since it is in a rather unassuming converted house, but we will definitely go often from now on!
