Don't pay attention to the other review.
First off, I've never had a single problem with Dr. Raffa's office and I have been a loyal patient for 15 years. He is the kindest man and has always treated me and my family members with the utmost respect. When he relocated from Englewood to Castle Rock, I followed him, even though it takes longer to get to the new location. I highly recommend Dr. Raffa and it makes me sad that this other person has such negative things to say about him.
Bottom line: he's knowledgeable, friendly, and takes the time to talk with you without rushing like many do these days.
Lots of Money for Nothing. I was a patient of Dr. Raffa's for over a year and in spite of spending over $1500 was unable to get one pair of glasses or contact lenses that were satisfactory. The glasses were so bad that after examining three of the pairs Dr. Raffa sold me, a Kaiser Permanente optometrist was willing to write on KP letterhead that all three of them were totally outside of ANSI standards and completely unsatisfactory. I requested one half of my money back. Dr. Raffa refused and was unwilling to provide any reasonable resolution. I have now been seeing a different optometrist for two years and am completely happy.
We sincerly apologize that the poster, OptiMist had a bad experience at the office, I can't help but wonder several things. First the experience was over 2 years ago so why now just write a review? Why if you are a Kaiser patient did you go outside of your network? And lastly, outside of the optical industry, the term ANSI Standard is not known. With the amount of patients a Kaiser Dr must see, where would they find the time to explain terminology?
We care about the patient and the standard of glasses that we produce, if the writer still has these glasses we are more than willing to research any refunds we are able to provide. Please contact us at your earliest convience
