Doesn't Recommend

Nickel and Dimed!. When we first walked in, I liked the atmosphere. It was sophisticated but laidback -- lots of big screens with football on. However, we waited about 10 minutes before someone came over to take our order and it didn't seem to be overly busy. We were a group of four. My friend ordered a glass of pinot noir. They were out of the kind she wanted but they had plenty of the more expensive kind. Another friend ordered a sandwich and requested avocado -- the waitress informed her that since avocado was out of season, it would be a $1 upcharge. Okay. She then asked for a salad in place of the french fries which come with the meal which she was informed would be a $3.99 upcharge. I ordered an entree that came with rice and beans and requested to swap with steamed broccoli (which is on the menu as a side to other dishes) -- for a $2.99 upcharge. I understand that restaurants need to cover costs, but this seems a little extreme. Also, the restrooms were very dirty. There was dust everywhere suggesting it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while, paper towels overflowing the garbage, no toilet paper and a very obvious lack of ventilation or air freshener. On a positive note, the food was pretty good.
