Great service Michelle rocked it..
Service was great and she was on top of our drinks and our food was fast.
Quality and taste of food was terrible. We got the Mac and cheese they xharged me $1.50 to cut a raw jalape
Chill Chill Chill. My lovely wife and I hardly ever get to go out because we have a 2 year old princess that we spend our spare time with. When we do get a change to get out, we love going to Northfield. We like to walk around, see a movie, go to dinner and have some drinks and shoot some pool at Bar Louie. It's a very chill place and I like the fact that they have a non-smoking and smoking patio section. They have started to bring live bands into the mix and my wife and I always have a really good time when we go. We have never had a bad experience with this place.
Bar Louie for football. I enjoy watcing the game there. It's a family type of place during the day and a regular bar at night.
Awesome place!. I've gone twice to this place and I will continue to go. Last time we went, they had a live band playing which was really cool. I order the hummus with cucumber and it was really yummy. I was satisfied with over all treatment.
Cool Place. Like this place to drink beers with friends and watch some football. No drama.
Love Bar Louie. I have been going to Bar Louie at Northfield, ever since it opened back in November of 2007 and my experience has always been a pleasant one. Most of the staff is courteous and we love their appetizers. It's a cool place to hang out at if you are waiting to see a movie or after dinner.
Awful food and terrible service. I visited the brand new Bar Louie at the streets of Southglenn in Littleton. NEVER AGAIN. No one was dining when we walked in, yet somehow we were completely ignored by the seater/servers (so we elected to grab a table on our own). Shortly after, a party of five was seated next to us and their order was taken immediately. I couldn't help but kindly mention that we'd not yet been asked for our drink order, let alone our food order. Unfortunately, that pissed off our waiter. He returned with my drink and angrily threw the napkin at me, which missed the table and landed on the floor. As if the service wasn't bad enough, we then got our food. My calamari was literally inedible because it had the texture of beef jerky. Coming from the food industry, I know this means it was left out and was unsafe to eat. Terrible service is one thing, but terrible food, too? This might just be the worst place I've ever dined at. Needless to say, I'll never go back - and I would highly disaude anyone from ever dining here.
Horrible Service!!!. I have been to this bar on several occasions, however, I would say that my visit there on 12.26.09 would be the last time. The service there has been substandard every single time but I still went there hoping to see some improvement. I even talked to the manager the last time but he didn't seem to care. He is just another dumb ass. Stay away from this place. There are other restaurants/bars in the area which have far more superior service.
Not ever again.
Tonight we went to Bar Louie for dinner with family and my husband had
a beer. He gulped down the last part of his beer and had a sliver of
glass about 1 inch by 3/4 inch that was very sharp and thin get caught
at the back of his mouth. Luckily he was able to get it out, but he
doesn't know if smaller pieces may have been swallowed. He then went
to the manager to let him know and the manager said that they had had 5
other complaints about broken glass in their drinks. He said they had
been fighting with corporate to get new glasses because these break in the dishwasher, but corporate refuses to replace them. Unbelievable.
Both my kids had been drinking from the same type of
glasses and they could have easily swallowed something and had us in
the hospital.
Do they really not care if someone dies from their carelessness?
Though the manager was 'nice' and passed the blame to corporate, they have a responsibility to make sure those glasses get to their customers without deadly shards in them.
Stay away from the cheese. A visiting friend was staying in the Stapleton area, so I thought that Bar Louie looked like a good place for dinner with its broad menu and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the restaurant was disappointing in terms of both service and the food. We were initially somewhat confused by the fact the establishment is ?seat yourself,? which was not indicated by any signs, and the staff didn?t direct us that it was ok just to grab a table. After sitting down, our waitress was slow to take our drink orders, but tried to rush us into ordering our meals. Aside from taking our orders, she basically ignored our table all night and made it seem like a burden when we needed to ask for refills, etc. As for the food, my fish tacos were pretty tasty. However, my boyfriend?s macaroni and cheese was sort of like half-cooked pasta (ok, seriously al dente) suspended in pasty cheese goop. Our friend?s enchiladas were also slathered in a weird bacon flavored cheese sauce that had a grainy wet cement-esque texture. So, stay away from the cheese sauces. As was noted in the prior review, the bathrooms were definitely grungy. This place seems like it would be a good spot to grab a few drinks at the bar and perhaps have a few apps, but I?ll probably go elsewhere for dinner in the future.
