Enjoying my new gym! Small, but clean and friendly. Very happy to not be harassed or pressured into joining unlike other gyms in Denver I have done trial memberships at. Can get busy after work but never had to wait for a machine or not been able to get into a class. Very nice locker room with great amenities. Looking forward to trying the spa.

Friendly, clean, never too crowded, great group fitness classes and awesome trainers. I love coming to this gym. Very pleasant environment, never have to wait for a machine, and the staff is nice and helpful.

This gym is fantastic. Convenience and cleanliness were the two most important things to me when picking a gym and Matrix has them in spades. The hours and location are great, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful, and the gym and locker rooms are always clean. Absolutely recommend!

We love Matrix. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the space is clean, and the club is never crowded--surprisingly. Even during "rush hour" it is not nearly as busy as most gyms. (Selfishly, I am almost hesitant to post a good review because I would like it to stay this way.) Have yet to try the spa, but looking forward to it as it looks very peaceful and inviting.

I have been to my share of trainers and gyms, and I have to admit that Matrix Fitness & Spa takes the cake. I have never experienced such friendly and supportive staff like I have at Matrix. Beginning with my first email inquiry, Dave Wagner, General Manager, set a very positive tone. When I went to tour the facility, I felt listened to and appreciated.

Today, I went in for my first workout. For a gym, this place is quite clean. There is a very calm and quiet vibe throughout the establishment. And to their point, it's quite nice to be able to walk up to the machine or equipment you want to use and not have to worry about waiting.

Oh, and here is something to note: a member (i'm assuming he's just a member) walked over to me and introduced himself to me and welcomed me to the club. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. The just confirmed that I made the correct choice to join!

So far this gym has become the best part of my day! Dave and his team are very friendly and helpful. My trainer, Liz is amazing and so inspiring! I look forward to going to Matrix as often as I can. Highly recommended!

Personal, Friendly and Clean Training and Spa Facility. My husband and I are physique and figure competitors respectively and require a great deal from our training facility since we spend so much of our time there daily (3+ hours!) during contest prep. The environment is clean and intimate (compared to the large chain gyms), the staff is friendly and helpful (the trainers are full of great tips!) and we can accomplish workouts (especially supersets) that would be nearly impossible at other facilities (due to overcrowding). They have 2 smith machines, 2 cable machines and a vast variety of cardio equipment (elliptical, bikes, treadmills, step mills) to ensure availability. The spa locker rooms are spotless and posh, tons of amenties are provided (razors, lotion, cotton balls, curling irons, etc.) and the steam rooms are integral to the success of our pre-competition water lean downs. I have personally enjoyed the spa services and love that they stock my favorite skincare line, Sanitas.

Emilee Jones--THE BEST Trainer. I started working with Emilee about 9 weeks ago after hearing from several people how wonderful she is. They were all right. Emilee has an immense passion for what she does and is extremely knowledgeable. I can't imagine there are many better trainers in Denver. Wonderful trainer and great person. She will help get anyone motivated to reach their 'goal' make it happen. :)

Emilee's Nutritional Expertise!. I started working with Emilee about five weeks ago.

As a triathlete, runner and group exercise instructor that works out approximately six days a week, I recognized I hit a wall. My body weight and fat had plateaued and I knew it had everything to do with my nutrition.

Emilee has helped me recognize the value of protein and the importance of pre/post workout nutrition. I have also seen how beneficial it is to eat small meals every 2-3 hours instead of larger meals every 4-5 hours. Being vegetarian, this was extra challenging for Emilee but she did additional research to make sure we were identifying the right foods (high protein/low calories). Emilee has gotten me past my wall - I have dropped about six pounds and cannot wait to measure my body fat next week...

If you are an athlete looking for that extra step to maximize your workouts and take your body to the next level, speak with Emilee. Her tough love attitude is what helped someone like me get the most out of my workouts and I now see food as fuel!

Feeling good and looking great is always worth the little bit of cash and extra effort. Plus, Matrix is a warm environment and a big family, so it's a very supportive network of people. Check it out!

Jenn is an amazing massage therapist!. I've been fortunate enough to have had many massages in my life, but no one has ever come close to the skill of Jenn Gonzalez! I have TMJ disorder and she really made the tension melt away in my jaw muscles, which I rarely get relief from. If you're looking to try a new spa, give this place a chance.

I can't wait to go back :)
