Overall i was dissapointed with my experience here. My stylist was well aware that i was growing out my hair and it was finally getting to the length that i wanted it. Unfortunetly, my hair got butchered that day. It was incredibly choppy and uneven. I had to go to another salon to have it fixed, in which i had atleast 3 more inches taken off to make it look decent. I am bitter that it took me well over a year to grow my hair long, and now it will take atleast a year to grow it back out again. As any girl can attest to, if your hair doesnt look good, its hard to feel confident.

As if the haircut wasnt bad enough...I clearly stated that i wanted my color to be lighter. Once again, my stylist did not listen and my color looked pretty much exactly the same as when i came in. How frusturating is that? When your paying good money for a hair service, i dont think its too much to ask to be listened to and get the results you want.

Its unfortunate for this stylist because i could have been a great client, but i have since taken my business elsewhere.

I would also like to mention that the receptionist that I encountered had a major attitude. There's nothing that grates on me more than people who work in the customer service industry, yet have no idea how to be nice. I worked in a salon/spa as a receptionist in the past, so i know first hand how a good receptionist should act. Your job is to be courteous and friendly, not to pretend your way better than you really are!

However, i will say that the salon has a good atmosphere overall. I also like their location in the uptown neighborhood. Its too bad that i had a bad experience because i would have liked to make this my "go-to" salon. If you give this place a try, i hope you have a better experience than i did!

Anthony and Henry's is amazing!. I have gone to many salons around town and when my friend suggested me trying Anthony I did. That was 4 years ago and I haven't looked back. Anthony is not only an amazing stylist but also makes you feel truly beautiful and welcome. He makes you laugh and super comfortable in his chair. My mom goes to him as well and won't go to anyone else! I have had so many horrible hair cuts because many stylists don't know how to cut curly hair; I have never had anything but beautiful cuts that have fit my needs and personality. I go in and say to him now "do what ever you want" because I know that no matter what it will be beautiful.

Fabulous Style. I love Anthony and Henry's Salon! I always feel special when I walk in the door. The staff is friendly and helpful. Anthony talks to me like a friend. He always has great advice on how to make me look fabulous. Not just for my hair. I have asked him advice on make up and hair also. I know when I leave the salon I will look and feel beautiful. Several of my friends with different hair types (mine is straight and fine) have also gone to him and have left looking amazing. I would recommend Anthony to anyone and have.

Horrible and extremely unprofessional service!. Horrible, horrible, service. Went to a stylist and was a 1st time client. Their was a miscommunication about the color so I called back the day it was opened to schedule a redo. When I came back the receptionist so extremely unfriendly and after I met with the stylist and explained the color was not exactly what I wanted, it was proceeded with unprofessional comments, accusations about my character, and statements that are slanderous and beyond what was necessary! I have never been treated so horribly in my life and the funny thing it

Anthony. Anthony is amazing! He has been doing my hair for over 4 years now. He always knows what looks best on me so I trust his suggestions. Color or cut it's always beautiful! Right now I am letting my hair grow out and it still looks great. He always goes out of his way to accomodate my schedule. When I leave Anthony's chair I know I will be getting lots of compliments from my friends so I tell them to go to Henry's and ask for Anthony!

Best Hair Day Ever. I've been having Andee cut my hair for almost 7 years now, I've followed her from two previous salons and won't let anyone else touch my hair. She is amazing!

She gets the cut perfect every time and when I walk out of there I feel like a million bucks because she's made my hair look so good. She is a wonderful stylist, she always makes sure to sit me down first and make sure that she understands what I'm wanting to do with my hair (though it's been the same style for a while, she makes it look fresh each time). Once we've reviewed what I want to do with my hair she washes my hair & gives me the best scalp massage, I almost fall asleep when she does it, so relaxing. Once we get down to the haircut, she's a pure professional, scissors and comb, she makes my unruly wavy hair lay flat and does the layering perfectly so that my a-line bob comes out smooth and beautiful. She does amazing color as well, and has very reasonable prices for her services. (She's also a great conversationalist - so my hour long haircut feels like 15 minutes)

I can't wait to get back to Denver and have Andee work her magic again!

Andee will give you the perfect haircut & color. Every haircut and color treatment has been absolutely wonderful- I feel really comfortable giving her a couple ideas and letting Andee do what she will. I always leave feeling beautiful and I've sent several friends to her who all felt like she gave them the perfect haircut- better than any they'd have before.

Gail Kane Nail Tech. I have been following Gail since I met her in August 2005. She does the best natural nails that I have ever come across. Her manicures stick for at least 8 days. Now she offers Shellac by CND and I swear this is the greatest thing invented for nails!

My nails are for the first time all one long length and look like they are just done, 14 days later. The withstand the dryness of Denver and the use of a keyboard every day.

Audrey has moved to Henry's. This will be my third time in the last six years to follow Audrey to a new salon an this looks to be the best move yet! Henry's is beautiful, convenient and the parking is free.

I am always getting compliments on my hair and some of my friends and family members have switched to her also.

Asya Zelinda. Asya is the only one I trust with my skin. She waxes my eyebrows and gives me AMAZING facials! I absolutly love everything she does a Glyolic peel that makes my skin feel new and fresh (my fine lines deminish). If your looking for a RELAXING experience you MUST go to Asya! She dos it all (Manicures pedicures waxing and even EYEBROW AND EYLASH TINTING!) and she is great!
