Worst store ever.
Given my experience at this store I feel like giving this place a 1 star does an injustice to all the other stores out there which are rated one star. I've had two really bad experiences at this store and so I can guarantee that I will NEVER go to this place ever again. First time was with a tennis racket we bought. After using it for a couple hours (I'd clock it at around 80 hours of use) the racket cracked when it came in contact with a tennis ball. Okay not a big deal so we should just take it in and get it replaced, it should be easy. When we took it back to the store the store manager was reluctant to exchange the racket for us stating that he'd never seen a tennis racket that had been used so much. The manager was constantly implying that the cracked racket was our fault because we "played so much tennis." The way he talked you'd think the racket was designed to be kept in an air-tight vacuum, never to be touched by human hands. His reasoning was that he'd never "seen a grip that dirty." True the grip WAS dirty, but originally it was white and the racket had seen a majority of it's use during the hottest time of day. Eventually we did get the racket replaced but there was an additional fee even though the racket was still under the store warranty.
My second bad experience was when I sent my snowboard in to get some routine maintenance work done. The guy who handled the work was fine and nice enough. However the person who retrieved my snowboard for me went and dropped it off the rack (fine I can accept that accidents happen but....) As a result of him dropping the board there was a obviously fresh scratch on the bottom. I told them about it and they reluctantly called a manager back to the shop. The manager looked at the scratch (which I will point out you can obviously tell it was fresh, if you get a freshly-waxed board it shouldn't have any obvious groves in it like mine did) and he said "there are other scratches on the board, this one is just the same as those. After debating with him for a bit of time I basically asked him if he could honestly tell me that the new scratch felt the same as the other old scratches on the board. Finally the manager admitted that it may have been scratched when it was put on the rack or something. However I was unsatisfied with this because they were talking as if the person who did the work on my board was at fault so I pointed out that it was probably scratched when the guy who got my board dropped it (And pretty much at this point a simple "yeah I dropped it, my bad" would have been enough to appease me.) The manager turned to that person and asked him if he dropped my board and that person point blank said that he did not. Sick of arguing with them I finally decided to give up.
So in general I found their staff to be rude (they aren't rude like they yell at you or anything like that, they try to be "subtle" about it acting as if their store can do no wrong so it's obviously the fault of the user ect.) and un-knowledgeable as well as failing to have accountability and in one case a liar. But as they say fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me, and I definitely will not give them the chance to fool me a third time. I personally will never give them my business again and I post this here in hopes that I others can find this useful and avoid the same misfortune. If at least one person can avoid the headache that is going to this store then my work here is done.
