Jim Dinges is a horrible business man.. Jim Dinges is a horrible business man. He installed a fence for me a year ago and never follow the county requirement to get a permit. A year later, the homeowner and him are beign summoned to court because he would not produce the architecture drawing for the permit so that I can pay for the permit. He did not do the fence correctly either. I had to fight with him for months to get it right. Never do business with him again. I am filing a BBB complaint against him so that no one will go thru what I am going thru. View Less …
watch this guy james dinges hes a rip off. if i were you i would not trust this james dinges guy he is a rip off and he doesnt pay his people that work for him i have a friend that worked for him and he still owes him a lot of money hes now at 4444 w32 in denver colo not on 2310 julian st i dont know how people like this even get into the better business b but this guy is not righthe doesnt pull permits or nothing and his work is way below standard and not up to codeas far as i know he owes three people alot of money google his name and you will see what im talking about if you dont think this is true people dont lie all of those people he has screwed over i feel sorry for anyone who has had him work on your house and for the people that worked for him i feel so sorry you werent paid for your labor take him to the labor board and report him to the bbb seriously View Less …

I have been wanting to get an antique jewelry box fixed for a few years. It was given to me by my parents the year my grandma died, and it
was her's, so it's very important to me. Over the years and the moves I've made, it got banged up and was in bad shape. I couldn't figure out where to take it, though, so it sat in my closet waiting.
My brother found Jim's name on this website, and he not only came to my house to give me a quote (all the way across town) for free, but also took it with him, and returned it in 3 days. He was polite and kind and went out of his way to make this easy for me.
His workmanship was exceptional - he put it back together and refinished it. It now looks like it did when my parents gave it to me. Not only that, but he gave me some background checking on it for me. I didn't know it was around 75 years old and made of birch, but I do now, and it gives a little more meaning to the piece. It is beautiful and I love it. My husband is going to wrap it up and give it to me for Christmas, exactly 25 years after I first got it.
