tasty curry. I got Green Curry with Chicken and it came with some soup and some sort of curried peanut sauce, I'm not entirely sure what the sauce was, but it was really good with the soup and on the rice. The curry was really good, it was the 1st time I had green curry (I usually get yellow) and I enjoyed it. This was the first Thai place I've been to in this neighborhood and I enjoyed it. I haven't gone back, but just because I never think about it not because it wasn't good. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Thai.

Best Thai Food in Denver. Growing up a military brat I had several friends with Thai moms and ate many home cooked Thai meals. During high school and college I worked at the commissary (military grocery store) and was befriended by quite a few folks from Thailand who would frequently cook for me. When I moved out to Colorado in 98 I tried every Thai restaurant I could find looking for my ?Thai fix?. Taste of Thailand is the only Thai restaurant I?ve found in Colorado that does the trick. The stapes like pad thai and pad kee mao (drunken noodles) are good, but their Northern Thai dishes, flu shot soup, and ?Crispy Fish? with red curry are unbelievable. Prices are reasonable. Service and environment are great. Definitely the best Thai food in Denver.

Best Thai in Denver. I moved here from Chicago where there was an abundance of yummy Thai food. Of all the Thai places I have been to here in Denver, this is the only place where the food was delicious, not syrup-y sweet, but spicy and yummy. Every other Thai place in Denver seems to serve only sweet dishes even when you ask for spicy. Try this place!

Dunno about Thai in Denver, but this Thai place wasn't great. OK, so I am from LA. There are about 20 billion Thai places there, and I have eaten at a number of them. I like Thai food; I know Thai people who take me to Thai restaurants; in general, I think I know Thai food pretty well.

I came here to citysearch to find some thai food: being on the road often means eating poorly. I wanted some vegetables, some rice, etc.

This place was OK. Not great, not bad. It certainly wasn't greasy, which is very nice, but flavors--not so great, IMO. The guy on the phone is super nice--white guy, obviously his first language is English.

I was travelling with a group of picky eaters, so we ordered pretty mundane things: pad thai, cashew chicken, satay, yum kao, mixed vegetables, etc. Cashew chicken was OK, mixed vegetables were OK, (didn't try the beef salad) satay not so great, and pad thai just plain old weird.

For me, it's all about food. I am willing to overlook a lot of what others may consider to be inexcusable factors (bad waitstaff, long wait times, etc) if it's good food. To me, it was OK. Different than the traditional on-the-road fare, but don't get your hopes up too high

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Colorful Thai restaurant uses fresh ingredients straight from its own garden; beer and wine served.

User review by njinco. The food was delicious and the service was great, but it was definitely overpriced. There are several other Thai places in town with food just as good (like Thai Basil), but with entrees that cost significantly less. So, awesome place, delicious food, a bit on the expensive side.

Still the best.... Since 1994 and numerous Best of... awards, this Thai restaurant continues to serve the freshest ingredients in their dishes with unparalleled consistency. You can never go wrong with any dish. My favorites include the panang curry, Yum Nua Beef Salad, and Basil Eggplant. If you are in a group of four+, I'd highly recommend getting a whole fish in red curry - exquisite!

Great place!. Fresh ingredients and a great staff make this one fabulous place to eat.

Plan on a little wait on the weekends though, their reputation and high quality makes for a crowd.

Awesome Thai!. Taste of Thailand is simply the best Thai restaurant in town. The food is fantastic and the service never disappoints. Prices are better than average and considering the quality of the food and service, more than worth any difference you might find elsewhere. Get to the Taste of Thailand -- you won't be sorry you did!
