served burned food to go.. Just have to let people know about the crappy food i received from cheesesteak connection. I placed a to go order and when i got the Rubin home it was so burned I had to trash it. I emailed them and never heard back. I guess this is what you should expect from a restaurant started by a “mobster” or criminal however you want to look at it. If you’re homesick and want a Philly go to Pats or TOP they are much better.

terrible experience!!! dont eat here.. after hearing a few friends of mine talk about the various "Cheesesteak" restaurants in the Denver area we decided to give each one of them a try and find the best one. we went to them all....Pat's, Denver Ted's, Cheesesteak Connection. Taste of Philly, Famous Philly....all of them!

i can tell you that Cheesesteak Connection was the absolute worst meal i have ever had. The meat is dry, the buns are stale, the portion size was embarrasing, the floor and tables were all dirty, and they are terribly over-priced!! Cheesesteak Connection is way below par-especially in comparison to the other restaurants we tried and should not even be in business here or anywhere else for that matter.

The worst part of it was that i tried to be polite to the restaurant owners and took time out of my day to call them and share my experience with them. (I know in my business that i want to hear the stories from top to bottom on people's experiences and how we compare to our competition.) When i called, i was treated very rudely by a person by the name of Jim and he hung up on me. when i called back to tell him about my experience he continue to act like a child throwing a temper tantrum complete with name calling and harsh words. neither i, nor my friends will EVER go back to this restaurant again!!

after reading this, I'm sure you want to know which restaurant WAS the best for the authentic Cheesesteak...the winner is...Denver Ted's on 13th & Pearl!!!!

skip The Cheese Steak Connection and save yourself the money and headache!!
