Delaney's Deli

Just awful..... The last draw happened this last Sunday for breakfast. Delaney's deli web site says they open at 10 on the weekends and not even sure what time on the week days, but one thing is certain is they open when they want. One time I walked over there (yeah I live like 75 yards from the place) and there was sign on the door, "Gone to the rookies game".

So out of six times walking over there it has been closed 4 times and this is during their normal business hours, that they have posted. This last time was the last draw,when I got close enough to see the open sign off, the anger started to seep in, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and finished walking the rest of the way just to make sure. And to my surprise I see people inside and I say to myself yay!!! By the way they have great breakfast sandwiches.

I grab for the door and it is locked, they have a north and south entrance. So I look up and the patrons are looking at me as well as the workers, so I try again to open the door. Nothing just blank looks on the workers faces, so I wait a bit looking at the people inside and I wait.... Nothing!! So I turn around walk back to my Jeep, jump in (again 75 yards ), and drive by the same door. Sign is now blinking and door open. Ummm McDonald's never tasted so good knowing I will never give a local business another dime of mine.

This place has decent food, but they could care less for the people that helps keeps it's doors open.

I emailed them as well and let them know I was not happy seeing they are part of my community here at belmar and they haven't even emailed me back a sorry or a give us one more chance. Again they could care less, don't waste your money.…
