Elevate Photography Reviews The Brown Palace. The Brown Palace is located in the heart of downtown Denver and is regarded as one of the most luxurious historic hotels in America. Every president since Roosevelt (except for Coolidge) has graced the Brown with their presence. Even The Beatles stayed their during their 1964 tour. With such accolades from elite guests there is no doubt that a couple looking to have their wedding be a slice of history will love tying the knot at The Brown Palace.

It's easily accessible location downtown offers many choices for church ceremonies and spots for wedding party portraits. A couple of our favorite churches to photograph in the area are Trinity United Methodist and Holy Ghost. Both churches are located within walking distance to The Brown Palace. The Capitol, federal building, civic center park and 16th street mall are just a few options for fun places to take the wedding party for portraits. Even if you didn't set foot outside of the historic hotel, their are endless spots for portraits indoors as well.

Whether the bride is getting ready in the hotel spa and salon or in the bridal suite, the lavish spaces offers us ample opportunities for beautiful photos before the ceremony.

With over 13,000 sq ft of space spread over 12 event rooms, The Brown Palace can handle the even the grandest of wedding plans. Couples may choose to have their ceremony at the historic hotel as well. The Grand ballroom can host larger ceremonies and the Brown Palace Club room is a popular location for a more intimate feel.

The most popular rooms for receptions are the Grand ballrooms as well as Central City, Onyx and Club rooms. The Grand ballrooms host parties of up to 300 guests. The other rooms offer an equally elegant setting for smaller receptions. The ballrooms boast elegant chandeliers and luxurious drapery over rich wooden panels. Each of the other rooms offer unique features such as frescoes on the ceilings in the Onyx room to city street views in the Central City room. Throughout the hotel, the lighting is dimmed to heighten the warm rich feeling in the architecture and decor. Our knowledge of the use of ambient light and off camera flash takes advantage of the beautiful settings that The Brown Palace has to offer.

Photographing in the eight story atrium lobby always guarantees truly unique photos for the bride and groom. There, you'll find the grand staircase which is a great spot for bridal portraits. We always take the time to go on one of the upper levels with the couple to look out on the atrium lobby below.

Best Hotel in Denver. What can you say about "The Brown." I have been eating there and staying in the suites over the last 25 years. Never had a bad experience there in any way. The people are always very polite and helpful. Its the best Denver has to offer when you want to raise the bar on service, quality and overall satifying experience. The Sunday Brunch is a must for anyone wanting a great culinary experience. In fact any retaurant in the Brown is a culinary delight. History at its best in the Mile High City.

. A club for members only, the Brown Palace Club offers lunches in this historic hotel. It has soups like clam chowder as well as sandwiches, from the classic club to the newer spicy Cajun chicken. It has daily seafood specials, steaks, crab cakes and chicken cordon bleu.
