This review is for deBoudoir Chicago. This was an amazing experience! The staff wad amazing & made me feel so comfortable, I felt like I was spending the day with a bunch of gf's! Was a little pricey for photographs however my consultant worked with me & gave me a great deal! Overall I highly recommend & hope to return!

This review is for the Carlsbad location.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Positive:

- The photo shoot was fun.

- Most of the staff members were friendly and supportive.

- They did an OK job editing the photos.

Very negative:

The final selection part of the experience for me was terrible. I felt rushed and pressured to select a few pictures out of a few hundreds in less than an hour and the manager had a lot of attitude, constantly reminding me that we don’t have time; well, either they had to narrow down the options, before I got there or allocated more time for the process.

I mentioned it to her and she toned it down, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. For most women, body image is an issue; if a person in this line of business neglects the emotionally charged nature of this process, and adds pressure instead of making it enjoyable, they are in a wrong business!

I thought for what they charged me, at least I deserved a curious customer service. They over emphasize their “higher end” status all over their website and in all their email communication, but the customer service could not be farther from being “higher end”; I receive a better treatment in Walmart.

I just had my photoshoot at deboudoir and was very impressed! They made me feel comfortable right away and I liked how they made me feel confident that my pictures would be secure and only for me. They did a great job an my hair and makeup, and the photographer was great. I had a vision of how I wanted my pics to turn out and she worked with me to get some really great shots. I had so much fun I cant wait to do it again!

I bought a groupon for DeBudoir and went in for my photoshoot. The gals were so sweet and wonderful and even though I was so nervous that I was shaking, they made me feel great. After reviewing my pictures I have one thing to say: WOW! Since having my last child I have felt so very down about my body. Looking at these pictures made me see myself in a whole new way. Thank you so much!!

I bought a living social deal for deBoudoir (Seattle) and I had my photo shoot on May 11th and had a wonderful time! As soon as I stepped into the room to start having my picture taken, I instantly felt sexy. My hair and makeup was wonderful as well. I have already seen 12 pictures so far and am just waiting to pay off my payment plan to see the rest of the 176 pictures!

This was an incredible experience, from the moment that I walked through the door to the end of my shoot and through the selection process. I went to the deBoudoir in Denver. I purchased a great Groupon deal ($39 for a 60 minute shoot and 1 digital image). I was kindly greeted by Rachel who discussed the process and guided my through the available lingerie selection available for purchase. I was then brought up to the studios where I met Susan the photographer she was beyond wonderful! She was amazing; she helped me pick my outfits and quickly came up with a game plan. Susan was fun, energetic, she is just brilliant. I felt very comfortable with Susan. She captured over 400 shots, I was amazed at how effortlessly it all went. I returned for my viewing two days later and was greeted by Rachel again who introduced me to Kelly. Kelly was so nice and excited to show me my photos. I walked into the viewing room and there was a beautiful shot of me on the screen. There are no words to truly express how delighted I was! Kelly was so wonderful and patient with me in trying to narrow down the shots that I liked best. It was a very difficult decision trying to pick my favorites. I wanted them all but; I didn't have the budget for that. I would most definitely recommend deBoudoir for anyone! It was an absolute amazing and empowering experience and I left feeling so beautiful and sexy. I cannot wait to give this to my husband!!!

Thank you so much to all the lovely and talented ladies at Denver deBoudoir! I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and I will be back!

I went to the Deboudior location in Houston, Tx for a present for our 11th wedding anniversary. I had a groupon for a free corset and photography. I added on the hair and makeup, and it was so much fun! The girls were really professional and friendly, and I ended up buying stockings and another outfit as well. I was only planning on buying 2 pictures, but ended up getting 13, because they were all so fabulous!!!! It was an awesome experience, and I would definately do it again!

I went to the deBoudoir in Denver, I found a living social deal and wanted to do this for my soon to husband as a wedding gift. I was really nervous and am very modest so, this was a stretch for me in the firs place. I was warmly greeted by Rachel who did my hair, and calmed my nerves I had already had my makeup done that morning for my wedding day trial run so I only had them put lashes on. I was then brought up to the studios where I met Susan the photographer she was wonderful! She was so sweet and put me at ease right away. she helped me pick my outfits and has an amazing eye for what looks good and what would not. I felt so comfortable with Susan, it was so much fun!! She captured so many shots I was amazed at how smoothly it all went. I returned for my viewing two days later. I was greeted by Kelly and she was so excited to show me my shots. I walked into the viewing room and there was a beautiful shot of a women on the screen, I had to take a double take, that woman was me!!! I was very pleased with the photos it was hard to believe that was me in those shots! Kelly was so patient with me in trying to narrow down the shots that I wanted. It was a difficult decision trying to pick my favorites. I wanted them all but, I didn't have the budget for that. I would recommend deBoudoir for any bride to be! It was an empowering experience and I left feeling so beautiful and I can not wait to give this to my fiance the day before our wedding!!!

purchased a boudoir photo session via Living Social (Denver) with my sight sets on gifts for my special someone ;-) and I can say that it was an incredible experience even for someone who is very self conscience about my overall body image.

The studio is located in a gorgeous, vintage house and the environment is extremely comfortable and relaxed upon initial entry. It includes a small boutique that showcases a number of beautiful corsets, babydolls, tights, panties, etc, you could walk in here with nothing prepared for your shoot and be able to purchase something on the spot. The staff is all female, extremely friendly and highly professional. They offered every possible means to make me feel confident, encouraging words, enthusiasm and confidence in their services , and even wine to calm any nerves that may have been there.

I chose to do my own make up and hair but their make up artist was kind enough to allow me to use some of her tools for touch ups. I may opt to have them perform this service for me next time (yes next time) to relieve myself of some of the pressure and to try the entire experience out from beginning to end.

The photographer , Susan was fantastic, any anxiety I had disappeared within minutes. She was truly an expert in her field, she assisted in choosing my ensembles, was fun and energetic and I found myself wondering if I needed any other photography done that I could use her for! She offered clear and entertaining guidance on posing and lighting and was extremely efficient and captured tons of shots.Her talent was even more evident when I was able to view my completed and edited images two days later ! I was astonished to see the different sides of me she was able to capture and all of my self-assigned "problem areas" she was able to NOT capture. I barely recognized myself and actually struggled to narrow down the images to a package that was feasible for me. All were absolutely stunning and beautiful works of art. I am planning to redecorate a room around one (you can't see my face lol).

Valerie is amazing as well, very upbeat and positive. She was my consultant for viewing and selecting my images. She offered honest and helpful feedback for me to choose a balanced variety that encompassed most aspects of my photos.

I left feeling that I had a wonderfully uplifting experience and everyone wins! Sexy gift for him and and renewed self confidence and feeling of beauty for you!

My only caveat: as with all fine photography and high end experiences, the images are expensive to purchase, they delete the photos following your viewing (two days after), so save what you need because you WILL love many and schedule your session accordingly.

This was a blast with stunning keepsakes, great especially for a Bride-To-Be or gifts for special occasions !

Helpful staff and good atmosphere. Many kinds of backgrounds to choose from for the pictures. The photographer was easy to work with and the sales who helped me check out and select pictures weren't pushy at all and let me take my time. It is slightly more expensive than a lot of other places though. I will still want to come again if I save up more $$$ for the pictures!
