Horrible Experience! Overrated hotel and incompentent staff. Do I have to give this a star? I booked a one night stay here through the Living Social deals. We got a 'club level' room, with a free beer/wine/appetizer bar at night and free club level breakfast buffet the next morning. The staff knew NOTHING about the Living Social deal, we could never find the free appetizers in the lounge that night and were forced to go eat downstairs. We chose the Baca and the service was horrible and food was way overpriced. The hotel itself was dirty, old and all the decor is outdated. The room was TINY and nothing more than a standard room at a freaking Super 8 motel. The staff was rude and just stupid. We were ready to leave by 8pm but managed to sleep on the uncomfy bed and find the breakfast 'buffet' the next morning, tucked in a small closet-sized room at the end of the hallway. The best part was when we said goodbye and good riddance to the hotel when we were driving away. Worst experience in a long time, I cannot believe they charge so much for those crappy rooms...I shudder to think of what a standard room looks like since ours was a club level room and it sucked.
Grotesque health standards with Incredibly vulgar staff.. I had a chance to see these awful kitchens and let me tell you! In the short time I was there I saw the pastry guy DROP A CAKE ON THE FLOOR, then PICKED IT BACK UP and USED IT!!! EWWW! The staff was too busy talking amongst each other to realize they weren't wearing gloves!!!! Unless you call multiple serious health violations and poor management luxurious just go find somewhere else to spend your cash. Please, for the health of your friends and family, STAY AWAY!
They knew our name!. My fiance and I stayed out there for a getaway. We got an amazing discount because my brother works there. The staff was always friendly. It was nice to have the variety of restaurants nearby. The hotel is only six blocks from a light rail station and provides a shuttle to and from the light rail. It was pleasant to be near Denver, but not in Denver. From our hotel room, we had an amazing view of the mountains and of the pool(that helped us to decide if we wanted to go to the pool or not!)
Great weekend getaway!. I recently stayed at The Inverness Hotel with my husband and we had a great time! The hotel's exceptional staff catered to our every need and we were highly impressed with all the amenities. Although we live a short distance away we felt like we were on vacation in another state. We loved the new spa and can't wait to return.
Great Conference Center. You can't go wrong when you are at the Inverness on business. Their world class golf, multiple wonderful restaurants, english pub, and all the other amenities make this a great place to travel to. Their gym needs a little work, but other than that it is a wonderful stay.
This upscale hotel blends business sense with luxurious amenities..
The Scene
Located in the heart of the Denver's own Silicon Valley--the Denver Tech Center--this hotel and golf club is one of the first choices for the traveling business person. A 30-minute drive from downtown and just a stone's throw away from Denver's premier shopping district, Park Meadows Mall, it has cemented itself as one of the city's most popular hotels.
The Details
The big draw is the golf course. The PGA Championship, par-70, 6,890-yard course includes tight, sloping fairways, fast greens and 11 holes with water hazards. Colorado Golfer magazine named the course one of the state's top 10. The course also features an excellent putting green, driving range and chipping practice range. Other amenities include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis courts, two lounges, more than 300 rooms and a complete high-tech conference center.
Great place to stay. Except for the fact that no one will help you carry your luggages, everything about this hotel is excellent. The service is especially wonderful.
More Bang for your Buck. I had the pleasure of staying at The Inverness this past weekend for a wedding. Not only was the wedding a beautiful wedding with great food, but also we had impeccable service. From the moment we walked in the front door until we checked out, the entire staff was there to cater to our every need. We had forgotten a couple things when we left home. With only one phone call we had those items brought right up to our room. I can't wait until I have the opportunity to give them my business again!!
Don't stay here.
This hotel is not any nicer than hotels that cost much less, and needed some help in several areas:
1. The room: small for a King. We had no where to put a room service tray. It was also in need of new bed/ bedding, carpet replacing. The garbage cans were not lined, and were stained. The closet door was broken.
2. Service: people were friendly, but not totally professional. Bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly and personal belongings were moved; there was construction in the lobby and no one apologized for the mess and inconvenience. At the breakfast buffet, the omlet chef disappeared and made guests wait .
3. The hotel was poorly labeled. Stairs were impossible to find.
4. The fitness center was nice, but in need of repair - free weights were dirty, and one tv was broken.
Eh.. Went here for a romantic getaway and found it wasn't so romantic. The room was just a typical hotel room and even the pool and hot tub were blah.
