One of the things that I like about Bono's is the consistency. I find that some bbq places are very inconsistent. I would say that 8 out of 10 visits to Bono's is an A to A+.

Ribs are dry rubbed and slowly cooked, tasty and juicy. Hot links are spicy and juicy. Bono's is a frequent lunch venue for me.

Thanks to Bono's Pit BBQ for providing the food for our Mile High Officers' picnic yesterday. The food was great, and we enjoyed the get together. Many of us went back for seconds.

One of my favorite bbq restaurants in Denver at both the Mississippi Ave and Dry Creek Rd locations. Pork shoulder is sliced and diced, a welcome change from pulled or chopped, and portions are generous.

We have eaten at Bono's once every 3 or 4 weeks for the last 4 years. We love BBQ, and we love to try new BBQ, but we keep going back to Bono's because it's sooo good. I'm actually really surprised at all the negative reviews, because we have never had a bad experience there, and the food is always tasty. From the easy-going ambience to the delicious meats, sauces, and sides (and sweet tea!), this place is our favorite.

Kids eat free on Saturdays and Sundays, so that is always a bonus too!

Each time that I go to Bono's..the food improves and the quality of service. The only complaint I have with this location is drinks can take a while to come.

Lame. I've ordered take-out from Bono's twice, and it was pretty lame. The first time, they got my order totally wrong. Both of my side dishes were wrong and happened to be 2 things I hate. They didn't put any BBQ sauce in the bag. The whole thing was completely wrong. I called the store to let them know and the girl on the phone was totally silent. After a long pause, I had to ask her if she was going to apologize or at least say "uh huh" or acknowledge in any way that we were on the phone talking. Totally spaced out.

Two months later with a coupon, I went back. I thoroughly inspected the food I was handed to make sure everything was right- and it was. But then when I started eating I realized that it was lame food. The 4 different styles of BBQ sauce they put in the bag are gross. Three of them taste heavily of mustard and the other is like Chinese sweet and sour. The smoked turkey was pretty tasty, but I had to eat it plain because the sauce packets were yucky. The potato salad was like the generic kind you get from the grocery store with the undercooked potatoes in it. I wouldn't eat the baked beans because it contained shredded pork- my own mistake for not asking. Maybe the other sides are ok.

Overall it's just average to me. None of the BBQ sauce they use is good. The service can be spotty. At least one of the sides (potato salad) is mediocre.
