CRAPPA. I’ve never felt the urge to write a review on anything until I ate at Grappa last night. What an awful experience. We tried ordering three different bottles of wine to no avail. They were out of our selections. We finally settled on some Italian blend that we could barely stomach.

My husband and I moved past the whole wine debacle and looked forward to our meals. MISTAKE. I ordered the lobster pasta appetizer and it was filled with what looked like shrimp. When we asked the waiter what was in it, he said lobster, shrimp, and calamari. WHAT??? The two other items weren’t even listed on the menu?!?! If I had known that the dish was going to consist of ALL shrimp and nothing else, I wouldn’t have ordered it! My husband had the duck risotto and we have never tasted something so salty.

The atmosphere was desolate, everything was overpriced, our waiter was inept, and the food/wine was horrendous. What a horrible excuse for a restaurant.

Someone should shut this place down or rename it CRAPPA.
