not impressed. Let me start out by saying nothing was wrong with the service or atmosphere. To be frank, we'd been very excited to try Tag and had purchased a TravelZoo deal with some friends. For what we ultimately ended up paying, the food was not worth it.

The salad was bland; it was generic chopped romaine and proportionately there weren't enough "ingredients" or dressing. The pot stickers had minimal filling and minimal flavor. For our entrees, I had the ahi tuna and my husband had the bison steak. My tuna was over cooked. It was seared on one side but seared too long leading to about 1/4" of it being cooked. And the tuna had no flavor. It was basically an overcooked piece of prime tuna set upon some diced zuccini and quinoa. As for the bison, the cut was decent and the cooking was decent as well. The rest of the dish was mediocre. He gave it a 7 out of 10.

For what we paid, DEFINITELY not worth it. We won't return.

Most underrated restaurant in Denver. There is really nothing about this restaurant I do not like. I have sampled almost everything on their constantly changing menu, from the bone marrow (a gluttonous masterpiece), to the whimsical french onion soup dumplings, on to the scallop with braised pork on a celery root puree, truly nothing here has disappointed me yet.

I tend to sit at the bar, and this place hands down is one of the leaders of the mixology movement that has recently taken hold of Denver. Mike seems to always be the one behind the bar, and considering this place is busy every day it's open coupled with the fact the drinks are made from scracth with multiple ingredients, sometimes when you order a cocktail, you will be in for a bit of a wait. Trust me, once you take a sip, it will be well worth it.

The atmosphere is cozy and bustling. The service is good. No complaints, no rave reviews. Just solid service. The menu is an impeccable combination of global cuisine, meaning there is something for everyone on this menu. From sushi to venison filets, they really cover the world, however, unlike most restaurants that try to bite of more than they can do well, these guys have managed to do it right...and by right, I mean everything superbly.
