Fantastic Cut. Shanette gave me a GREAT first cut and I'll definitely be back. My hair is wavy and hard to manage and she really worked with me and gave me some great suggestions for working with it. It looks great whether I let it go wavy or straighten it. Cute, small salon and affordable--paying $15 less than at the salon I just left where they really didn't seem to care at all about my business.

Worst Haircut of My Adult Life. Andee butchered my hair by: making a horrible "scissor error", cutting WAY too much off, left it choppy and un-even, and attempted to "cover it up" by putting some type of "goop" in my hair WHILE cutting it. She attempted to give me some type of "Lyle Lovett" pompadour.I didn't leave the chair with THAT hair, but she screwed it up even more. Maybe she only cuts "emo" guys.

This is AFTER, I said "I'm like Samson with my hair, the longer it is the more power I have, and "I wear a curly mullet." Now I am assuming that Andee knew;a. who Samson was and b. what a "mullet haircut" was.

During the cut she was "flattening " my hair down, saying that that's how she does curly hair. Who "flattens" curly hair? Its supposed to be "fluffed!"

Andee said that she'd make my hair right if I didn't like the cut. She knew that she screwed up right away and that I wasn't pleased. She said that she'd fix it if I didn't like it. $125 to look like I've been attacked with a machete.

I called to complain and left a message, this was Thursday, the day after the disaster. Sunday she calls back and in a very arrogant tone said "I'm not the stylist for you."

I noticed that my check hadn't cleared so I called again and left another message "I hope you ripped my check up after what you did to my hair, and if you haven't I want it mailed back to me the address on it is correct." No return call.

No check either.

I called again demanding a refund for this butchery. No return call.

Two weeks later MY CHECK CLEARED! I called and said "how can you have the AUDACITY to cash my check after what you did and after I said that I wanted a refund!" No return call.

I called yet again saying that I'd complain to; The Barber and Cosmetology Licensure, BBB, and the Attorney General's office if I didn't get a call by noon telling me to pick up my refund. I also stated that I'd make a sign and march in front of the shop on the weekends."Ruined my hair and refused to refund my $." No call.

I filed. I can't afford the gas to go there and protest right now. I also contacted Tom Martino.

Insult to injury at a premium price.
