Great Patio with Live Music on Sunday Afternoons. We kept seeing the great looking patio from Parker Road so decided to give it a try a few weeks ago on a Sunday Afternoon.. We are now HOOKED!! For three weeks in a row now we've thoroughly enjoyed the live music, great food and cold drinks!

Thanks Bob for opening a great new place to hang out in Parker.

Takoda Tavern. After reading several reviews about our new neighborhood Tavern, I figured I would check it out. The place was clean, a lot of flat screen tv's to view your favorite game and live music on the patio. But after sitting at the table for 10 minutes, we finally received some service. Ten minutes later we get our beverage. Thirty minutes into our visit we get checked on from our server and we order fries. Several minutes later, the fries come out (hot) but no napkins and no follow up on new drinks. One may wonder, 'Were they busy?' Hardly, out of the 20 tables I counted inside, 13 were empty and 7 were occupied. The patio was hardly at full capacity. The server finally picked up her pace and made more visits to our table to check on us, after she gave us our tab though. The owner did stop by to shake our hands and see how we were doing. And after letting him know of our experience, only wanted to make things better on our next visit.

A Great Neighborhood Place. What the hey? I thought there was a Depression on.

Good to see a place where peeps are having fun, smiling, and yakking it up. Come early on weekends to get a spot.

Parker Shows Signs of Life. Nice to see someone open a place that knows what it is. A tavern. People come to eat, drink, and meet up. No nametags, food's good and reasonable, cold beer, a four dollar glass of house merlot. Great view.

Cool horseshoe bar. Big screens all around.

Local owners. Kitchen has talent.

A Friend To Everyone. Nice mix of people here. Boomers, ranchers, Parker newbies and old timers.

Good bar food, clean surroundings, local owner working the bar daily. Fun!

Weekend free bands. Bison burgers for a buck more than beef. Half pound angus from 6.99. All American decor. Check web at 'takodatavern.'
