Highly Recomended Dentist in Denver.
From the moment I walked into Dental Elements, I felt comfortable. The atmospher is very modern and clean. All the employes greet with a professional attitude. They desinged the office in such a way that you dont feel threatend at any point in the apointment. The Dentist is the best in the whole city. He finds and corrects many things other dentist have missed in previous apointments. My mouth is feeling GREAT now! Thanks Dr. Thurman
Fantastic, Friendly, Professional, Afordable.
I love everything about this office and it's staff. I needed a TON of work done 4 root canals, crowns, and some cavities. I have a horrible fear of dentists and had been putting off going for quite sometime. Anyhow Dr. Thurman and his assistant Michael were AMAZING! There really took the time to explain everything to me and make me feel at ease. I found there prices to be very reasonable and on par with work I have gotten at other offices.
While the office is incredibly modern Dr. Thurman and his staff are a throw back to better times when people actually cared about their patients. It's like a small town vibe in a modern city office.
CROOK and Bedside Manner sucks.
This office opened up near my house and I decided to give them a try. Don't be fooled by their trendy office and downtown location- the dentist sucks and so did his super chatty assistant.
When I came for my first appointment the doctor spent the first 30 minutes trying to sell me on aesthetic procedures such as cleaning and invisilign <sp?>. He didn't address the health of my teeth until deep into his pitch on the extras. I had to redirect the subject to a cavity I thought that I might have before he switched roles back to dentist from salesman.
So because I had used up my insurance on xrays and my 6 month cleaning at this point, I scheduled the next appt to have my cavity fixed.
This was the worst idea. While he was drilling in my mouth I could feel him hit a nerve which shot through my mouth like a bullet. After I threw my hands up, as instructed if I felt pain, he reluctantly pulled back and in disbelief asked me if I could feel it. Of course, stupid....anyway, he actually argued with me and said that he had given me a large dose of Novocaine and i couldn't possibly feel anything and told me that it must be the cold from the water. He asked if he could try again and low and behold he hit the nerve again. We played this game a couple times and he was a total a-hole when he had to numb me more. Needless to say I never went back.
Oh and they have this great little trick where they overcharged with each visit but never notified me until my next visit. This happened both times. They had automatically scheduled my next cleaning for 6 months later and when I called to cancel, I remembered to inquire about any overpayments I may have made. Oh, whoops, I had overpaid by $115 last time and they were never going to bother to refund it. I had to have quite a few conversations with them back and forth about how I never had any intentions or returning and I wanted my money. That was over 3 weeks ago and guess what? I still haven't received the check they were putting in the mail. Looks like this won't end still...........
