good food. Absolutely amazing Indian food. Very romantic and elegant setting. I think this place is such a gem. I'll be back next time I'm in Denver for sure!

Mmmmm... So tasty. And hospitable.. This place is so delicious. My girlfriend and I go there all the time, and the owner as well as the employees have all taken time to get to know us. They treat us so well, and always have. Even the first time we went in, they were very hospitable and left us with a good coupon for our next visit. We enjoy exploring the menu and figuring out our favorite dishes there. If you ask the waiters what their favorite dishes are, they'll pretty much list them all, because they're all so good.

I had been looking for a place that compares with Taj Mahal in Fort Collins since moving back down to Denver. India Tavern definitely takes the cake.

My recommendations are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Saag, or the Navrattan Korma which we just had last night. Most of the sauces tend to run on the mild side compared to other Indian restaurants, so get medium or hot if you like it spicy.
