Best Food in Glendale. Modmarket is tucked away at the back of a parking lot at 1000 S Colorado, right next to Barnes&Noble and Pinkberry. They serve healthy, fresh foods in a cool modern atmosphere. Sort of feels like if Dwell magazine and Whole Foods created a restaurant together. Everything seems to be made from scratch and you can see the entire kitchen while you are waiting in line. I had a steak sandwich and cup of cashew butternut soup and both were fantastic. Next time I visit, I would like to try the salads and pizzas. They also have Boylan All Natural Sodas on tap, which I had never seen before but were quite tasty. They do a lot of catering too, which is how I found about them as they catered a meeting at our office. I would highly recommend this place as a nice change of pace to all of the dining options on Colorado Blvd.
