Development.
Attending the Art Institute of Colorado has been a moving experience for me. In the beginning the workload is rather light, and at graduation I had to balance a lot of work with the professional attitude expected from graduating artists so as not to display emotions during critiques.
The material for classes are broad, there are plenty of NEW tools to use while attending. Sometimes the teachers afflict you with the attitude you bring into the classroom: but its to mold your artist ego into something professional. The cost for this school is very high for the value, I would have liked the education to focus more on different materials and with more detail and processes than the mainstream Industrial Design plastics. To help offset the cost of education I would have benefited from learning about business practises and an education on consulting would be great. The school is good with finding loans for you, they could use more workshops and community involvement to facilitate a broad learning experience. It was good, I would have gone to a less expensive college.
