then you might love the Ship Tavern. My friend and I heard the seafood and beef were excellent here, so we planned a lazy, late lunch and the only thing worth repeating was the company! My crab cakes' solitary attribute was *mushy* and my friend's slow roasted beef tasted like it was from a "cow who was having an off day". I was further astounded that a kitchen in such proximity to the Palace Arms was incapable of cooking a burger to medium-rare, leaving me with a medium-well lump of Kobe I didn't have the heart to finish. If you think the homemade bun will be worth the carbs, I think Wonder bread does a better job and skip the french fries because they weren't worth the room in the doggie bag (which really went to the dog). So if you want food that has any vibrancy, i.e. taste, the only thing I can recommend here is the horseradish; otherwise, get a comparable microwave dinner and save the hundred bucks!
Pros: The ambience
Cons: The food, drinks and wait staff
