Amazing Food, Great Service, and Awesome Wine List. We went to the Denver (Cherry Creek) Campo de Fiori last night for the first time and were very impressed, all around. They immediately served three different types of warm bread with great oil already on the table. They offer 1/2 portions which allowed us to order many different things - all amazing. The service was great, fast, and knowledgeable. The wine list was very good and the Cab was served at the correct temperature. The lamb gnocchi is phenomenal and our favorite. Best Italian Meal In Years!. I am not easily impressed. Thanks to a large income and a generous employer, i travel alot and eat well. Campo was not my first choice that fateful night, but all the stars aligned and we ended up there. The foos was "to die for", the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. We had apps, entrees and desert. Every bite was outstanding and we escaped with plenty of money in our pockets. exceptional!. My husband and I came here after reading a review in 5280 and we were both blown away! Luckily we made a reservation because there was not a dull minute in the restaurant. Good Times!. No,... not the TV show, the experience at Campo! This place has a good location,cool ambiance, a nice bar area,great waitstaff & delicious food & wine. Good people watching is standard at Campo;can you say pretty girls? It's one of the few places I've found Di Majo Norante's Contado, an excellent & afforadable wine.The grilled seafood salad is Italian cooking at it best;simple & excellent with no hint of pretense. The Veal specials are always excellent, the sauces tasty,& the desert plates are a pleasureable to look at as they are to taste. Slooooow service.... We went to Campo de Fiori for a fun night out on a friend's birthday. When we arrived for our 7:30 reservation we weren't seated until 40 minutes later. 20 minutes later our server finally approached our table for a drink order, which took 25 minutes to arrive. She said she'd be back "in a few minutes" to take our order, but it took 30 minutes. After we finally ordered our food and more drinks it took 20 minutes to get the drinks. Dinner, when it finally arrived, was unimpressive. The Romana salads were heavily laden in creamy dressing and our entrees were not worth $30 a plate, especially after terrible service. Wonderful Service. We recently celebrated our 3rd anniversary there and the food and service was GREAT!! The atmosphere was very relaxed but not too relaxed. We had our 5 month old with us so don't be afraid to bring your children. Our server, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend this place!!
