Amazing Food, Great Service, and Awesome Wine List
by Rebecca3
We went to the Denver (Cherry Creek) Campo de Fiori last night for the first time and were very impressed, all around. They immediately served three different types of warm bread with great oil already on the table. They offer 1/2 portions which allowed us to order many different things - all amazing. The service was great, fast, and knowledgeable. The wine list was very good and the Cab was served at the correct temperature. The lamb gnocchi is phenomenal and our favorite. We will be back - one of the best Italian dinners we have had in or around Denver (and we have had a lot!).
- Pros: Excellent food - fresh, delicious, and perfect servings. Ambience is great, too!
- Cons: Random bright lights mixed in with the soft candles and other soft lighting - threw off the 'vibe'.
Best Italian Meal In Years!

I am not easily impressed. Thanks to a large income and a generous employer, i travel alot and eat well. Campo was not my first choice that fateful night, but all the stars aligned and we ended up there. The foos was "to die for", the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. We had apps, entrees and desert. Every bite was outstanding and we escaped with plenty of money in our pockets. I would HOGHLY recommend this restaurant to the most discriminating pallettes.
exceptional!

My husband and I came here after reading a review in 5280 and we were both blown away! Luckily we made a reservation because there was not a dull minute in the restaurant. Our server was so sweet and recommended a great appetizer and bottle of wine. The food was phenominal, reminded my husband and I of being back in Italy. Great service, great food...we'll be back!
This Italian restaurant from Aspen brings big-city energy to Denver.

In Short
Wall murals, hand-painted floors and great tile tables in the dining room create a festive, classy and upbeat ambience. Regional Italian food never tasted better with amazing appetizers of wild mushrooms, artichokes and grilled squash, succulent clams in broth, fried calamari or bruschetta. Pastas have the perfect amount of sauce, and include ravioli, gnocchi, penne Caprese, pappardelle with veal and penne alla vodka. Entrees of chicken, veal, beef and liver are also options.
Good Times!

No,... not the TV show, the experience at Campo! This place has a good location, cool ambiance, a nice bar area, great waitstaff & delicious food & wine. Good people watching is standard at Campo;can you say pretty girls? It's one of the few places I've found Di Majo Norante's Contado, an excellent & afforadable wine. The grilled seafood salad is Italian cooking at it best;simple & excellent with no hint of pretense. The Veal specials are always excellent, the sauces tasty,& the desert plates are a pleasureable to look at as they are to taste. I bring dates here regularly & always seem to have a good time.Yes it can be crowded sometimes, but I've never had to wait long. You can brush elbows with players from the Av's & Nuggets ,so you know the food must be good.
- Pros: Excellent staff, food & wine. You can tell the chef knows his food.
- Cons: Sometimes hard to park before 7PM

My experience at campo di fiori was not plesant. The food is overpriced and anything but delicious. Save your money and taste-buds and keep walking past the front door.
Slooooow service...

We went to Campo de Fiori for a fun night out on a friend's birthday. When we arrived for our 7:30 reservation we weren't seated until 40 minutes later. 20 minutes later our server finally approached our table for a drink order, which took 25 minutes to arrive. She said she'd be back "in a few minutes" to take our order, but it took 30 minutes. After we finally ordered our food and more drinks it took 20 minutes to get the drinks. Dinner, when it finally arrived, was unimpressive. The Romana salads were heavily laden in creamy dressing and our entrees were not worth $30 a plate, especially after terrible service. After talking with a manager his "excuse" was that they were busy. The view from our large table was of EMPTY tables by the time we were finally sat. We will not be returning.
- Pros: yummy antipasta platt, Excellent busser
- Cons: VERY SLOW service, unimpressive food
Wonderful Service

We recently celebrated our 3rd anniversary there and the food and service was GREAT!! The atmosphere was very relaxed but not too relaxed. We had our 5 month old with us so don't be afraid to bring your children. Our server, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend this place!! The sushi next door is not bad either. . .
- Pros: service, atmosphere, food

We love Campo. It is a wonderful place to eat and the staff is so friendly. We always have a wonderful time and love to take our friends there.
If you have a big group of friends that you you want to take, they have a fun private dining area that you can reserve.
