The place isn't long on ambiance, but it definately caters to the asian palatte. When's the last time you ordered squid or squab at a Chinese restaurant? The menu is eclectic and the dim sum is to die for. The wait staff is attentive, if not a bit difficult to understand. Tucked away in a Vietnamese/Chinese stripmall, you can drive right by it easily so pay close attention.
Pros: Variety, authenticity, presentation
Cons: Kind of like eating in a dancehall

I've been here about four times, always for dim sum lunch on the weekends. I've found food service to be good--they come around almost too often asking if we'd like to try stuff. If you order a beverage, however, they forget all about coming around and refilling your soda. The food is really tasty. The prices are relatively cheap. There are actually more Asian people eating there than white people, which is always a good sign. A friend from Hong Kong has told me that this place has the most authentic dim sum that she's found in Denver. I'd recommend it.
Pros: inexpensive, good food
Cons: ambiance seriously lacking (it's true that it looks like a bingo hall or roller rink)

Restaurant is in poor condition. Whatever you do never ever use the restroom before you eat or else you will not have an appetite. Dim Sum quality is not consistence. Dim Sum is only fresh on weekend. ( I visited both weekdays & weekend and find the Dim Sum on weekdays is old ans stale). The lines to wait for seats or long on the weekend. Wait staff are RUDE!!!
Pros: inexpensive, large party gathering
Cons: restaurant is dirty, staffs are rude, food is not fresh

If you want dim sum, come here early in the morning starting at 10. Though the dim sum was good, it's not as good as in China. The service is wonderful! Try their peking duck too. The atmosphere is relaxed and great for kids. Great for big groups too.
Pros: parking, dim sum, Service
Cons: not for business

King's Land was my first foray into Denver Dim Sum and I have to say I was disappointed. The food was only OK. The flavor of the food was nothing to write home about despite having a seemingly wide variety of items. The ambiance left much to be desired. Two words: BINGO HALL. The servers were attentive and friendly. I was served rapidly and seated rapidly as well. Overall, I give King's Land a "C."
Pros: fast service, wide variety, fair prices
Cons: bland food, lousy atmosphere

GREAT place for Dim Sum. I would suggest going on Saturday just because you get faster service, get your server and the food faster, and less crowd. However, Sunday is great for the ambience of it. Reminds me of San Francisco Chinatown.

I grew up in Hong Kong. I know what dim sum really is. Let's not compare King's Land to the restaurants in Canton province or Hong Kong. King's Land was not bad few years ago, but now it changes. Food is not so good as before for sure. Most of my friends (Chinese or Taiwanese) agree the best dim sum place in Denver is the other restaurant few blocks from King's Land.
Pros: Dim Sum
Cons: , service

Sometimes when I see the editorial review, I'm extremely dissappointed, but this time I'm not! I totally agree with the editorial. I assumed that this place was going to be great because of all the Chinese people recommending it, but I soon found out that its the only place that we have in Colorado, and they're isn't any other place to recommend. There's very few choices here.
Pros: large, VERY FRIENDLY, good people
Cons: under par food, bland, sloppy food

I have always found the Dim Sum to be tasty, fresh, and nicely varied. I especially like the fact that they deliver the food from the time-honored carts. While the decor is not the greatest, it doesn't detract from the meal.
Pros: Excellent Dim Sum, Authentic Dishes, Plenty of seating
Cons: decor
