All the other reviews are worthless. I have read them and they can be summarized as follows: 1) I am a retiree who does not understand the most recent generation and I am highly critical of any establishment that caters to said generation or 2) I am a gnarly dude and i was to eat some 'za at a chill joint. Neither of the aforementioned reviews provide a clear picture of the restaurant. I will attempt to avoid generational affiliations and provide unbiased criticism. The restaurant has an excellent location right off the 16th St. Mall and nestled nicely inbetween a row of bars and other restaurants. It has an unassuming entrance and that theme carries into the dining room of the restaurant. The only real decorations are the posters on the wall that detail upcoming entertainment such as concerts, comedy acts, etc. One of the first details you notice is the heat.: there is no air conditioning. The menu selection includes pizza (by the slice or whole), calzones, and salad. The prices are standard for pizza (2.50 per slice, 15 for a whole pie) and the portions are excellent. One slice will fill up most average eaters. The dining room can seat roughly 40 people comfortably and some tables are actually old Atari games which help pass the time as you wait for your food. Other reviews complained of loud music, however when I attended (9pm on a Monday night), there was no music at all and the only thing you could hear was a TV with the History Channel playing. The staff was very laidback and friendly. Other reviews describe how mean the staff are but beings how this place is open until 3 am, I would assume the unfriendly service is attributed to drunks at the end of a weekend night. The pizza itself is pretty good though nothing outstanding but after a night of barhopping, it probably tastes like ambrosia. Overall, the restaurant was fine for casual dining and would only be highly recommended as a late night food stop.
Pros: Excellent locale for a younger crowd
Cons: No AC

This place rocks. Great pizza. The only "real" place in LoDo. The people are honest with a great sense of humor, and OBVIOUSLY have a tough job to do on the weekends. Tip them well. Too well. You have to learn to not be to sensitive, they are trying to do so much at once. WOW I couldn't do their job, RESPECT the MARIO. Love it, be open minded and you will have a blast!!!!! Plus they serve Old Style, simply amazing. well done guys(and the like 2 chicks that can handle workin there)
Pros: great music, fun people, beer and pizza(what else could there be
Cons: IT IS HOT IN THERE

I thought the pizza was just okay, but have had better. The server was really unhelpful and kind of rude. Bathrooms were dirty.
Pros: We got a table outside
Cons: Messy inside, dirty bathroom

After reading some of the reviews I think it is a bit over rated. The pizza is basic, however it does have a goof flavor. The seating is very small and its not that clean of a place. For a slice of pizza you typicaly have to stand and wait. Overall, food is good, location is difficult to get into and the place is sort of low quality.
Pros: Ok for a slice of Pizza I guess
Cons: Sort of a dump inside.

I've been a frequent customer at Two fisted Mario's for a year now, I live in Aurora and drive all the way to Down town Denver nearly every night just for a slice of delicious pizza and to hang out on a late night with some friends after work. The main thing that attracted me to Two Fisted's was the atmosphere, a very young and fun atmosphere, and of course the music that they play every now and then..METAL! The employees are young, very outgoing and fun, just be open-minded! They enjoy what they do, and one can easily tell by the enthusiasm in the kitchen and the delicious pizza that they prepare for you each and every time. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

i love two fisted mario's! not only do they have the best pizza in denver, but the atmosphere is something you won't find anywhere else. real people that listen to music i actually like! but what happened? they no longer play the music that made the restaurant so unique. i'm very disappointed and i think the business is definitely going to suffer. :( :(
Pros: awesome people, good pizza and good tunes
Cons: no more tunes!?!?!

I absolutely love going here. There's delicious pizza and great people working there. Everything from the music the attitude is wildly refreshing from the stale typical pizza places. It is honestly probably the most fun you could have going to dinner.

Is the giant sign they have hanging near the register. A flying monster flys above the cooks. Loud punk music plays and everyone seems to be having fun. These are the first things I liked about the pizza place. After a short wait for my pizza, I tasted it and it was great!!! Real authentic pizza served by real authentic people!

The pizza is OK, but the service is absolutely the worst I've ever experienced ANYWHERE! Even after giving them a large tip for my single slice, they were complete a$$holes to me for no reason at all! I Ordered my slice to go, but they gave it to me on a plate, so I said "Hey, I need this to go." The guy replied "I KNOW! I can read.. Duh. Does that mean you need a box?!" After throwing a box at me, he then demanded his paper plate back! WTF?!?!? All this and when I was walking out he was laughing at me with the other chef! If you're sitting at the Double Daughter next door having drinks, order a pizza there.. but NEVER, EVER go in Mario's and order anything or expect to be treated like chump change.
Pros: OK pizza.. not really anything to brag about.
Cons: The worst serive and overall experience you will ever have at a pizza place.
