Eat all you want

by Jthlampert at Citysearch

Sushi is one of those things you go easy on for the sake of the pocket. Not here. Namiko's is worth the price of admission. Nightly specials and a very friendly staff. The appatiser menu is a must try all the selections there are delightful but for the real fisheaters go for the Poki, spicey and filling, its enough for a meal itself. And there is no better dynamite in town. Take your sushi newbies here to get them hooked.

  • Pros: Value, specials, and fresh cuts
  • Cons: closed mondays

BEST Sushi in the Metro Area

by Keggy Lou at Citysearch

We've been visiting Namiko's for years, and have never had a bad experience. Always seated quickly, always treated as a valued customer, and always leave happy! I like the fact that the WHOLE wait staff is your waiter...everyone there works as a team, and is happy to take care of your needs. Freshest food, prepared beautifully, and tastes out of this world! If you have never been to Namiko's, you owe yourself the pleasure of dining at Namiko's. Impress your friends or work colleagues by taking them to this hidden treasure.

  • Pros: GREAT Customer Service
  • Cons: Nothing is bad

Best sushi in Denver

by tj479 at Citysearch

Namiko's has the best sushi I've had. The fish is so fresh and the portions are very large for the price. It's definately a spot I'll go to for a while!

I love the sushi at this place!

by jassieluv at Citysearch

My family has been going to Namiko's since we moved to Arvada. Not only is it delicious sushi, the prices are right, and the staff is always very nice. We have had sushi all around the metro area but I still find that Namiko's is just as good as any other sushi restaurant and their prices are the best! Try the master tuna rolls, and some of the other specialty sushi rolls and you will not be disappointed. Their hot tea is the best I have had anywhere and the miso soup and salad are typically a must when we go to Namiko's. I am so glad that there is such a wonderful place to go for great food and service and it is close to home!

  • Pros: Everything!
  • Cons: Closed Mondays

Hair in Sushi Roll

by hannahm44 at Citysearch

I am a sushi fanatic and have been to A LOT of places around Denver, and I have to say that this was one of the worst. Don't let the fancy fish tanks and decor fool you. After my husband and I ordered, we never saw our waitress again, so the service was horrible. When our sushi was delivered to our table, they tasted decent, but then I ate one and retrieved a long black hair from my mouth (and my hair is white, white blonde). I was disgusted, and we brought this to the attention of someone working there, no one did anything about it, and they didn't offer any sort of refund. This is the worst sushi restaurant I've ever been to.

  • Pros: The fish tank.
  • Cons: Everything else.

Fabulous!

by Carly0 at Citysearch

In my opinion, the best sushi restaurant in the metro area. They have large cuts of very fresh fish and an excellent selection. They also have a very authentic menu. There are items that cater to Americans, of course, but there are also very Japanese dishes. Great value for the area as well. Always busy, but great service. I've also never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Worth the drive from any part of town!

  • Pros: Sushi, service, parking
  • Cons: Nothing

Great Sushi, service and astrosphere... Horrible Teriyaki Beef

by anginthehouse at Citysearch

This is a cute place with great service and amazing Sushi!

However, I made the mistake of ordering their Teriyaki Beef, it was by far the WORST Teriyaki Beef I have ever had! It was super fatty and I kept biting into crunchy little bone fragments?ewww. It was also a tiny serving for the $14.00 price tag. If you are looking for a Sushi place that also has a nice variety menu, this is NOT the place ? If you are looking for some fresh Sushi and friendly service this is the spot. Just stay away from the Teriyaki Beef.

  • Pros: Service, parking, Sushi and astrosphere
  • Cons: Teriyaki Beef

oh my god...

by USMC4641 at Citysearch

friend came into town so we wanted sushi.. logged on here found this place.. came recommended.. the atmosphere is small but AWESOME.. everyone.. and i mean everyone says hello. the fish tanks were amazing.. on friday night at 7pm my friend and i were seated in about 2 minutes after walkin in teh door.. in a packed house at that.. The prices on teh menu were fantastic.. the smells were equally as much.. we ordered basically a variety of things.. we enjoyed teh freshness and prompt succinct service and teh casual conversation with the sushi chefs at the bar.. The sake was good.. hot or cold.. Then.. The owner sat down with us.. she was a very nice lady and carried on a conversation with us for about 30 minutes.. then she started ordering items off teh menu for us to try.. opened up my eyes to alot of new sushi flavors.. the fire line shimp is awesome!.. give itt a go.. and the squid and octopus was probably some of the best ive had since my days in kyoto. GO HERE AND EAT.. YUM GOOD FOOD EAT LOTS.

  • Pros: speechless... eveything.. thats all i can say
  • Cons: not a dern thing..

Excellent sushi, great owners

by n_wilker at Citysearch

Found this fabulous little gem on a whim. We were looking for a place to have sushi at 7:00pm on a Saturday night without a reservation. The atmosphere was great! Giant fish tank in the middle, great colors on the walls! The sushi was amazing! We started with an appetizer of fish wrapped in cucumber strips served in a martini glass ? very beautiful. The tuna was really good, the egg had a great taste, the inari was wonderful. The rolls were varied and very delicious! The owner took time to come by and check on us and have a nice conversation. We really enjoyed our dinner and hope to return often!

  • Pros: Great sushi, wonderful service, seating on a saturday night
  • Cons: Little pricy - but worth it
