I LOVE COMING IN HERE. NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD GOOD BUT THE STAFF IS SO NICE RESPECTFUL AND YOU CAN TELL THEY WERE HIGHLY TRAINED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES OUT HERE IN COMMERCE CITY!! KEEP IT UP STAFF AT EL JARDIN!!

I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant! I've introduced many people to it, who also go out of their way to eat there!! Friendly staff, good food, and awesome green chile!!

The food was average (pretty much the same stuff you find at On the Border, less creative), the margaritas were average (with very few choices), the atmosphere was lacking (I felt like I was in a warehouse). I haven't tried many home-grown places in Denver yet, but I would think there is a better "Best in Denver" mexican place than this. If it's near you and you're curious, maybe try it, but it's not worth the drive if you live in central or southern Denver. Considering all the hype, El Jardin was very disappointing. The staff was great, though!

While it wasn't awful, I don't plan to return. The food was very bland, and over priced. I expected great Mexican food based on the reviews but I was disappointed. Still, service was prompt and polite.

We celebrated our Mom's retirement party at El Jardin. The room was awesome and very affordable. We have dined at El Jardin many times before, but the party they hosted for us was above and beyond. Our favorites are the Lime margaritas and Steak Picado...

Pros: Price, banquet room, specials

Cons: Need more parking

Our first visit was last night and we truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the decor and the food. The green chile was hot, in fact I should have ordered the medium, it was to hot for me, but very tasty. The best part of the evening was the dessert. We had their homemade FLAN which was AWESOME...We have had FLAN at many Mexican restaurants, but this by far and away was the best.

Pros: Decor and dessert

Cons: none at this time

We tried this spot a few months ago after reading the reviews on it here. We waited to get seated while waitresses ran around like crazy. We waited forever to give our order. When it finally came, bland. Bland green chili, cold, mushy food, just not good. Too bad, the ambience is neat and it looks like an authentic place from the outside. I wish I knew that if we didn't like our meal it was free, I think we paid close to $30. Question: Why doesn't anyone make good mexican food anymore? We want tacos like you find in Southern Calif, but just can't find them other than Mexico City (see my review).

Pros: Looks nice as far as the decorations and outside of the restaurant.

Cons: Slow service, bland mexican food.

Wonderful atmosphere; I love the decor, music, and tv channels they choose! They have excellent customer service because everyone checks to see what you need, not just the waitress assigned to you! We are always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food and this place does a great job. I just wish the prices were lower so we could afford to drop by more often! I recommend the Indian tacos!!!

This is by far the BEST mexican restaurant I have ever been to! I have been coming to El Jardin since I was a child with my parents and grandparents and I now take my daughter Jordan.The service is wonderful, you are always greeted with warm homemade chips and salsa, I preffer my chips with lime and they always remember to bring it without me having to ask I LOVE it! The food is delicious and always timely you can even eat there on your lunch break!

when i had my tennis banquet i had to take snack that i thought everyone would enjoy. No doubt in my mind it would be the queso dip. we took four orders and it was devoured. then we had to tell everyone where we had got it from. And we said only the best restaurant around El Jardin!
