Authentic Italian
by slimeybobo
I have never been to Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill but I have been to Italy and I have been to Pesce Fresco. Both times my wife and I have been here we were impressed with the food as well as the service. We have lived in the Denver area for five years and have tried many independant restaurants (we don't usually support chains) like Barolo, Locanda del Borga, and Bonnanos places. Pesce Fresco is as good if not better. I have not had better seafood in Denver (maybe Sushi Den). Halibut Cheeks were so good. My wife had a pork tenderloin that reminded us of a dish we tried in a restuarant in Peidmonte a few years ago.
- Pros: Real fresh fish, great wine list, not expensive
- Cons: none
Pesce Fresco makes Olive Garden look good.

Food was horrible along with service. Apparantly the Chef bit his tounge the waitress informed us half an hour into waiting and as a result I waited for an hour for spaghetti if that is what you want to call it. Did I mention service was horrible and I will never go to this restaraunt again nor recommend it. In my opinion this restaraunt deserves half a star for the host.
- Pros: Host was nice.
- Cons: Everything else.
Over Charged for standard food
by jim76hr
The potions were small and tasteless per the high price. Person at my table asked for a spoon for his soup and never received it. To top it all off they tacked another 4 dollars to everyone's cards without authorization. Food is over priced then they charge more then what you signed to.
- Cons: Price, Management Atitude, Portions, Service
Best fish in DTC

I just loved it from the first step in the door its very warm and cozy! the wine list is amazing and the staff know there stuff when it comes to the food and wine ! my husband had the duck confit tamales and he is from the southwest and he said he had never had such influenced food in denver! I had the corvina sea bass baked in roasted artichokes, calmata olives, capers and tomatoes in a clam broth with orzo and toasted bread with olive spread it was amazing the flavors and the presentation. and the prices were really affordable and the quality is unbeatable Then the young chef came and introduced himself he is so passionite about what he does it amazing and he was happy to share all of his preperation with us! some restaurants tend to be more modern and very stale pesce fresco is relaxing and the whole expierience was amazing we will be back again and again
- Pros: the lobster rolls, and the fresh fish
- Cons: tucked away
An outstanding Italian Bistro!
by jmartin26
What a beautiful little restaurant in an unassuming stip mall a half block north of Arapahoe Road. The food especially the Gorgonzla cheese cake appetizer and the Chilean sea bass were incredible. The service was outstanding without being pretentious. The decor is like stepping into a small restaurant in Tuscany with warm colors and great photographs. The sticky toffee pudding was the best we ever had!
It is such a pleasure to go to a small restaurant instead of the big chains. Real food, real people, and we even met the owners who coulldn't have been nicer. Two big thumbs up for Pesce Fresco!
- Pros: Atmosphere and food
- Cons: They don't have another restaurant downtown
Lovely Gem
by loulerbell
The atmosphere is cozy and elegant while the food is delicious. I love the wine assortment and anything I have tried has been amazing! I'm actually going there tonight for my father's birthday. Definitely a nice surprise considering what it looks like from the outside.
- Pros: romantic, intimate setting
- Cons: random location
Wonderful!

A favorite of mine. The PEI Mussels are superb - everything I've ever sampled has been excellent. Great wine list, too!
Worst service experience ever
by hrtoe
The food and atmosphere are exquisite but the service...It went bad when towards the end. We were done eating, the waiter even took my husband's plate and I had a couple of bites left; but he didn't come any where near us for nearly 20 minutes. My husband tried to get his attention to no avail. In a nice restaurant I don't expect to sit there for 20 minutes with nothing to drink or eat and just wait. The waiter only had three tables, including us. I can't imagine what it must be like when it's busy! As much as I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the context was ruined by endless waiting. I had been excited to find an amazing restaurant so close to home, but after waiting I will not step foot through those doors again. I don't recommend wasting your time.
- Cons: SERVICE
Very good experience

Everything about this restaurant is great. Great food, wine, just .. everything. From the outside it doesn't look like much, you'd say another strip mall restaurant, but it's not. I'd say it's about equal to the Old Stone Church in Castle Rock.
