My wife and I had such a wonderful evening at Del Frisco's. Everything was perfect. The hostesses who greeted us were freindly and offered we have a drink at the bar before being seated. At the bar we were served promptly by an awsome bartender who recommended the pineapple martini, called the VIP. It was delicious. Our dinner was amazing! The apps (crab cake, king crab legs and shrimp) the dinner (bone-in filet and porterhouse) the sides (cream spinach, au grautin potatoes) were the best I have ever had, and I visit all the big steakhouses in every city I visit. The service was prompt and extremely attentive to every detail. The wine list was spectacular, so we asked for a sommelier. He was unpretentious, knowledgable and accepting of our budget. We had a half bottle of Billicart Champagne then moved on to the Ladera Cabernet, both exactly what we wanted. We were too full for dessert, so our server recommended the flight of port. It's 4 -1oz pours of tawny port 10year through 40 years of age. It was perfect (by the way, we took a cab home) After dinner we retired to the swanky cigar lounge behind the bar. There was a jazz trio playing all the standards as we relaxed on the sofas in front of the fireplace. I don't think there's anything else like this in Denver. I will be coming just for the music in the future on more casual evenings. If you go to Del Frisco's (which I obviously recommend highly) trust the staff to do what they do best..taking care of the guest

Pros: ambience, service, wine list, live music, great food

Service was poor. Salad was good. Portions were small. Ribeye was overcooked but we had waited so I said OK. There was so much salt and pepper on the steak that I tried to scrape it off. It did not help. We all gradually finished our meals and when the waiter asked if I want to take my nearly complete steak with me, I explained that it was too salty to eat. He offered another but I declined as the rest of the party was ready to go. Lacking in attention to detail and quality. The rest of the group never really commented on the food either. Seems very over rated.

We go there 4-6 times a years min. We have been going there for a few years and the last two times we were there ( The last time was on 3/18/08) we had Mark as our waiter, He is a guy about 22-26 with dark hair. He was the best waiter we ever had there. If you have a chance to ask for a waiter than you need Mark as your Wait person. He is fun to deal with and very great wait person. He remembered our wine choice with over 4 months between seeing him, He is a sharp dude. As Im sure you already known you can not get a bad meal there if you tryed! Take care Mikewe

Pros: Great Food

Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!

Top-notch quality in every sense of the word. Great service and a beautiful atmosphere. Cigar lounge on site for hanging out after or while waiting for guests. Responsive and highest quality!

Pros: Food, service, everything

Cons: price (but well worth it)

Del Frisco's was amazing. I called and made a reservation for my boyfriends birthday...asked for a romantic table...we arrived and were promptly seated at a great table. The service was great. The waiter was attentive but not "over the top". The crab cake was probably the best crab cake we've ever had. The steaks were cooked to perfection and they remembered his b-day w/o reminder. The manager even wished him a Happy Birthday. They brought us a fabulous chocolate cake w/ raspberry mousse. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone willing to spend a little extra on a great dinner.

Pros: Great steak, good service

Cons: Expensive...but you expect that.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle sets the standard and they set it high. This is a fine dining steak house. If you are a vegitarian don't discredit them just because they don't cater to someone who eats against their biological makeup. We are all carnivores and Del Frisco's sets the stage to fill our deepest needs for meat. If you are a vegitarian or don't appreciate fine aged red meat then you shouldn't go. This is what they do and they do it very well.

It is clear from the minute you walk into this establishment that it is a high end restaurant. You would expect excellent service from such an establishment. While that may be true for your average meat eater, try being a vegetarian (vegan) out with a group of people looking for a great meal and visiting this place. I regularly eat in high end restaurants in different countries around the world and do not worry about being a vegetarian as it is normal that they will conjure up some great meal that meets my dietary needs. Most of the time the meal I get is not on the menu. Not so here. I felt like a second class citizen forced to eat off the side menu. Even after selecting a baked potatoe and asparagus as my meal it turned up soaked in butter! The attitude adopted by the staff in this restaurant was that of arrogance. The provide service on their terms and not on that of the client. The whole experience was destoyed by this attitude.

I previously read reviews listed on CitySearch and some of them were not so favorable. I had eaten at Del Frisco's in the past and it had aways been wonderful. I wondered if my favorite restaurant had slipped. Thankfully my experience last Saturday was wonderful. I took my fiancee there for dinner and she loved it. If you want a steak dinner with no frills then I would not suggest going to Del Frisco's!! Even though it is one of my favorite restaurants it is flat out expensive!! I would suggest making reservations for an early dinner right when they open at 5:00 pm that way you can avoid some of the crowd that always is inevitable from dining there. Next if you are going for a romantic dinner I would suggest when making reservations that you ask to be seated in dining room with a fireplace it adds another romantic touch. The Pineapple Martinis are the way to go for your cocktail pleasure (Pineapples soaked in vodka and then pureed). They are wonderfully delicious but will set you back about $11.00 a piece. Appetizers are pretty pricey but I recommend the Shrimp Remoulade which consists of jumbo shrimp with the option of three different sauces (cocktail, garlic butter, and cajun). The cajun sauce is my favorite it is slightly spicy and creamy I would love the sauce on a salad as well. We enjoyed the Prime Strip for two but I have had the Filet Mignon and Prime Rib which were all good. The sides are served family style ranging from ($5.00 - 9.00) and you could have three to four people eating off on one side. My side suggestions are the angel hair pasta and chateau potatoes. Finally for dessert I would suggest the Del's Delight which is vanilla bean haagen dazs ice cream blended with a bailey's irish cream and amaretto...it is a delicious ice creat treat!! My server was very attentive and helpful througout the meal answering my fiancee's questions about the meal. My dining experience was incredible and would recommend every time!!

Pros: Service, Atmosphere, and Food

Cons: There are not opened for lunch...only dinner and meals are very pricey.

In the last four times we have eaten at Del Frisco's, either I or 2 of our other parties have gotten ill. I have had a better steak at Texas Roadhouse...meals are not what I would consider outstanding but the prices are!!! To HIGH for what you are getting....you are paying for Atmosphere and anymore I would rather have and a meal I would rave about...Will find somewhere else to go....

Pros: Ambience...service

Cons: Prices,quality of food,parking
