Screwed up everything the day before my wedding

It started off as a great day....the girls and I were all meeting to get massages/facials and mani/pedis. Well when we got there one of the bridesmaids wanted to switch her facial to a massage and my mother-in-law said she would take her facial and give her, her massage. Well I went in to have my massage and when I came out my mother-in-law and one of my bridesmaids were still sitting there. I asked if they had anything done yet and they said NO!! I went to the front and asked what was going on and was informed that they just cancelled their appointments!!! Al they had to do was switch the names..instead they just cancelled both of them and then FILLED THEM. Well let me tell you I turned in to bridezilla because that was absolutly ridiculous. They eventually got them in but when you screw something up that is common sense, I dont have patience for that. One had a massage and one had a facial...bridesmaid wanted to switch facial to massage and mother-in-law offered to take facial..no big deal. Also, my aunt was with us and I had signed her up for just a massage because she got her nails done before she came out. Well when we got there, she was signed up for the whole package. Common mistake I guess since she was the only one not doing the mani/pedi and everyone else was..they just booked it wrong. Well when we were checking out they tried to charge her for the whole package instead of just the massage because of their error. That place was a nightmare!!! I wish I would have gone somewhere else the day before my wedding. All it did was add more stress...not relieve it!!!

the most amazing day!

I got a gift card to this day spa for my birth day this was my first time there. i usally go to the place bu my house , decited to try some place new . I wint for a full day wich was a honney rap , mesage, facal, spa pedicure and spa manicure . I loved everything about it , oh ya and lunch! I loved how the atmosphere is just so relaxing and vary clean . i will be going back as much as posible . I will tall any one i can about this place !

Fun environment...

Having visited Beau Visage several times I've found the atmosphere very easy going. I like going to places that remember who I am and what I like, at Beau Visage I found just that! The staff is ALWAYS pleasant and knowledgable. I highly recommend the 1 hr massage, its the perfect amount of time at the perfect price!!

Good Luck

Good luck getting what you want if you hire Kate McDonnell. Even if you make it clear what you want she does extra things without asking you first, like thinning out the front part of your hair without asking first or dying it a color you didn't ask for, even when you brought in a photo of the hair color you wanted. I had to pay $55 for a color that clearly wasn't what I had asked for and she didn't offer to fix it. I referred a friend to her months ago. She asked for a reddish brown from Kate. Kate didn't think it was right for her and didn't give her any red in her color. My friend told Kate she wasn't happy and doesn't go to her anymore either.

It is the client's hair, not the stylist's! A client is open to suggestions by the stylist but bottom line is if the client wants purple hair then it's the stylists job to give her that! That is what they are paid to do.

Best Spa in Town!

I'm not sure what happened to 'gloganlove' before she got to the spa...it must have really skewed her perception of this great spa! My many experiences at this fabulous spa have been awesome! I've been going to this spa for 8 years and I have seen numerous updates in decor and remodeling of rooms, in fact, the last update was this past summer. Everyone is incredibly friendly and they make me feel like part of the family. The services I've enjoyed have included facials, waxing, massages, full day of beauty, 1/2 day of beauty, manicures and pedicures. I've always walked away a very satisfied customer. I would recommend this spa to everyone! Don't let the bad review sway you, this spa is absolutely wonderful.

• Pros: Everything! friendly staff, clean environment and great services
• Cons: I can't visit as often as I like!

I LOVE this place!

I've been to Beau Visage several times and my experience there has always been excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The technicians are very professional and knowledgable. I've been to several different massage therapists here and they always address any issues I have asked them to with compassion. Every facial I've had has been wonderful! I always come out with my skin feeling amazing and looking youthful! The aestheticians always have great suggestions, but never pressure me to purchase extras. And the nail technicians are beyond compare! I will continue to come back over and over!

• Cons: need to book early to get in on a Saturday

Decent

My experience at Beau Visage in Greenwood VIllage was decent. Nothing amazing, but not bad. I had the 1/2 day, including a massage, facial, lunch, and spa pedicure. I was dissapointed that there was no whirpool in the ladies locker room, the robes and towels were very thin, you could see right through the robe. The atmosphere was a little outdated, and not very spa-like. My massage was pretty good, but the therapist talked through most it it, when I really just wanted to relax. The facial was AMAZING! I think that was my favorite part of the entire day! Especially the hand treatment! The "catered lunch" was delivery from Jason's Deli, but not bad. The spa pedicure was also awesome. I'd probably go back for a facial, but that's about it. I'd give it 3 stars.

Avoid this spa

This was my second visit to this spa and my last. My husband gets me a gift card for christmas. The entire day was just horrible. The robes in the dressing room are so thin that you can see through them which made me uncomfortable the entire day. I don't think they have renovated or purchased new linens ever! Dirty and stained towels at every service. My facial was the only thing that was halfway decent if you don't mind cold towels and cold rooms that are dirty, noisy, and stink. This is the worst day spa and I would never return even for free. The entire building is dimly lit to not show the filth, not to mention the very dated look . Where are the luxury spa's? Can anyone suggest a nice day spa?

• Pros: You can grocery shop at the nicest king soopers I have ever been in.
• Cons: The entire place, right when you walk in the door

I've only been once and have talked with others that are not to happy with the services there. I felt that the conversation level of the tech, particularly one of the nail technicians was unprofessional. I would not go back

Horrible Wax Jobs

A few years ago, I went to Beau Visage and had a great spa treatment. I recently went back to Beau Visage to get a bikini wax done, and I was so disappointed. The girl who did it was sloppy and had no eye for detail; she missed huge areas. She kept using the same stick to spread wax, and many of the same pieces of cloth, making me wonder if she had been using it on other people as well. Further more she had the wax so hot that she burned me several times, leaving welts. When I got back home I discovered that she had also pulled so hard in removing hair that she had left me bleeding. I have been to many wax salons, but I have never had such a poor and shoddy job. I looked so terrible afterwards, I just cried and cried. Take my advice, avoid Beau Visage like the plague.
