Best pizza in Colorado- SERIOUSLY

I’ve tried many, many pizza places and Big Bill’s is an INSTITUTION! We are a family from NJ and this is the closest you get to NY style in CO. Get NO OR 1 topping on your pizza!! Good NY style pizza is less about toppings, more about crust, cheese and sauce. If you get a lot of toppings, it tastes only a little better than the other Mom and Pop pizza places around town. I recommend getting meatball for your 1 topping. This place does get busy if you go during peak lunch or dinner times. If your service is slower, it’s when they are slammed, not because they are slacking.
- Pros: Awesome pizza
- Cons: Need more beer & cocktails, no delivery
Best pizza in Denver

Big Bill's has been a mainstay in South Denver for a long time, and for a good reason. You'll fight the crowds if you attempt to dine in, but they do a brisk (and friendly) takeout business, so waiting for a table is not required.
Try a large mushroom pizza. Though simple, it really hits the spot.
- Pros: Pizza
- Cons: Crowds

By far thebest pizza in the Denver metro area. It is not quite NY/NJ quality but it is as close as I've ever come out here. If you're hankering for a great slice with good atmosphere eat here.
- Pros: best pizza in the area
- Cons: beer selection is weak

Big Bill's is exactly what the doctor ordered after a long day. The casual atmosphere, great service and food at affordable prices just can't be beat. Everything I have ordered is good - from the garlic knots, to the pizza, pasta, and chopped salad. (I've never had room for dessert though)

Was disappointed in how I was treated there the other night. With their rude owner and staff, the drive from Denver is not worth it.

i was so happy to stumble across big bills several years ago. i am a native new yorker and miss good pizza.i knew the minute i walked in door and saw new york maps on the wall that is was gonna be good. the pizza is just like home . the sicilian pie is to die for . they also have genuine italian ices , and if your from new york like i am ,you know its impossible to find drakes cakes products anywhere . bills provides this and the mark up is only a few cents . there are several pizza places who claim to make ny pizza , believe me , this is the only one to prove it as far as im concerned . tom from parker...

I finally made a trip to Big Bill's Pizza last month and I found out why everyone is always talking about this place. It was great to see all the Sports Memorabilla throughout the place with all the photos of Big Bill and celebrities. I was lucky enough to meet Big Bill and he seems like a great man.
The food was great. I ordered the lasagne with meatballs and it was great. The service was also great. I recommend this place to people who love true New York Italian Food.

A loyal pack of regulars fills this casual strip mall eatery in search of New York-style pizza and salads; take-out is popular.
Truly, the only NY style pizza in Denver

I've been searching for a decent slice for about a year now and finally found one worthy to describe as NY Style. The service is fast and seating is ample. The take out is quick and the chef's are a riot. Looking for some ring dings or drake's coffee cakes? Big Bill gets em straight out of a Sienfeld episode.
Get it to go and your family will thank you!
- Pros: Great pizza, good subs, great price and NY fast baby!
- Cons: None, this place is great

Big Bills makes a good pie. The problem I have is they cook on a conveyor. I know there busy and most people in Colorado have no idea. If your going to call yourself NY Pizza where does the conveyor come in? Better then 80% of the pizza out there.
- Pros: Cool Sports Stuff
- Cons: Pizza could be better if not cooked on a conveyor
