Gold mining and dining unite at this kitschy all-American eatery.

In Short
Established in 1977, the Claim Jumper draws families, seniors and professionals with a mix of Old-West decor and a reliable menu of American classics. Logs, corrugated tin, rock and warm fireplaces embellish the unique ambience. Signature plates include hickory-smoked pork ribs, rotisserie chicken and barbecued beef tri-tip; the menu also offers tortilla chicken soup, potpies, wood-fired pizzas, and the popular six-layer Chocolate Motherlode Cake. The saloon features appetizers and the restaurant's own brews.
Always wonderful

We discovered the Claim Jumper years ago while visiting Orange County, CA. When we moved to Denver, we were thrilled that there was one here. After visiting the Lone Tree and CA restaurants at least 25 times, we have always been happy with the food, service, menu, locations. This is the best restaurant for the money in the Denver area. We cannot recommend it highly enough. The menu has something for everyone, the prices are reasonable, wait staff are great, and the atmosphere is perfect. This is obviously a very well-managed restaurant chain. We only hope that they will continue to expand to other states. No matter what part of Denver you are in, this place is well worth the drive. EXCELLENT!
PS: My sister is a gourmet chef, and she was even impressed (and she is very picky).
- Pros: EVERYTHING ABOUT IT

WE LOVED IT!! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.
The cooks are the best around and genuinley care about the food they are preparing. Quality of food is second to none. Check out the Prime Rib! Portions are HUGE so go hungry! Door staff is friendly and courteous, and appreciate the same from the guest. Servers are also friendly, they provide a higher level of service than many other resturaunts and also appreciate friendly and courteous guests. If your food takes a little longer, remember, it's a lot better! It's a little more expensive, but, it's a lot betterIt truley is close to a home cooked meal. In a cabin-like setting.
Be nice to your server, and you are sure to have a great expierence.
P.S. we tipped 30%.. GREAT SERVICE
- Pros: CLEAN! Great food value. Large tables, cumfy booths, salad bar, fireplaces, great drinks
- Cons: Saw people being rude to thier server...BE NICE! Servers are people working, treat them w/ respect!
A+ prime rib & steak in a western atmosphere

A fireplace with booths that can be romantic and great service. The setting is rustic with several kinds of antler chandeliers and western memorabilia. A terrific place to take out of town guests or just a special night with your family. Dellicious food and no smoking, I think it is fabulous!

Ordering dinner here is like ordering lunch for the next day also. Portions are huge and delicious. Lately we've been ordering appetizers only so we don't have to get a to-go box. Speaking of appetizers, both the salmon and tuna rolls are excellent and either one is a meal for a single person.
- Pros: Great food, Huge portions
- Cons: Not cheap
