I have had Pro Disposal as my provider for over a year and I have to say they are the best. Reasonable cost, they place my garbage cans closest to my garage door, and DO NOT LEAVE A MESS. They have honored their referral program and provide great customer service.

I actually had the garage man tell me that I could not throw out some broken pieces of tile. I had to laugh.
They also will show up at 6 am or at 1 in the afternoon.
Recyling you have to pay extra for.

Threw recycling and trash in same truck!

On 4/13/09, the driver through all my recycling and trash into the same truck. I saw it and went out to question him about it. He said, "Sorry, it won't happen again. We've have a broken down truck today." I said, "That's not acceptable. I'm trying to save the environment. I've taken the time to seperate the recycling AND I pay extra for the service." He said, "Nothing I can do." I called their customer service and they said the driver denied doing it and IF he did it, it was because it wasn't separated. I guarantee you it was seperated into their approved recycle bins that I bought from them! (Trash truck license plate: 396-RMT.)
In the past, I've been very happy with Pro Disposal. But, I MUST have a company that recycles my stuff! And, the response of customer service is unacceptable!

poor customer service

I like that Pro disposal brings my trash can to my house once it's empties. My biggest complaint though is that w have had 3 trash cans thrown away now, not bathroom trash cans, no, kitchen size trash cans. Our third can was thrown last thursday during the big snow storm. I have never called about our other trash cans being thrown away, I simply bought new both times. This time however, I was fed up with it. I understand it was a snow storm and that the driver must be in a hurry, but come on, it was a tall blue kitchen trash can. I know it wasn't heavy b/c it was only filled with baby diapers.
With the storm I didn't think about calling since all businesses were being closed down for the day. Then the weekend came and it slipped my mind. I called first thing Tuesday morning, to pay a bill and to see if they would credit my account for the can. I was told they couldn't do that b/c I hadn't called on the day of. They have to ask the driver what happened that day. LIke the driver is going to remember my home out of the thousands he stopped at and go, "Oh yeah, I did throw that thrash can away! IN the middle of my haste in a snow storm!" Please!
I guess I would say this, if anything goes wrong with pickup, you better make sure you call them right away! I'm not sure what they will do if it's the day after, since they told me it has to be in the day of the incident. So all of you who work out there, maybe come home at lunch to make sure you don't need to call them for anything, b/c if you wait until after you're home from work, it will be after business hours and you'll be outta luck.

These guys are great. They don't miss days, mess with my billing and they always return my cans back to the side of the house. Finally a great company.
Customer Service lacking - especially when there's a problem

This company is lacking in CUSTOMER SERVICE, unfortunately, which is too bad. Many of us want to support local businesses, rather than the giant national corporations.
Customer Service is just that - about the CUSTOMER - not the person who's answering the phone call. A company might want to reconsider who's answering customer phone calls - whether to praise or complain about the company or service - if the person answering these calls is unable to disengage their own ego from the situation.
Customer Service is meant to meet the CUSTOMER'S expectation of service from a company.
Rudeness from a customer is easily met with calm and dignity by someone who's trained to serve the CUSTOMER. Rudeness from a customer service person toward a customer should never be tolerated by a company!
Perhaps upper management might consider sending the persons responsible for customer calls to a customer service/ support training seminar.

Horrible Customer Service. Even when signing up for service the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude. I should have known then not to sign up. So far they have missed 2 out of 4 pickups and when we call they blame us for not having our trash out on time even though we put it out the night before, very rude.

Great company, great prices!

I have used this company for three years now. In this time they have provided great service. They have missed a few pickup due to show and them not plowing our streets, but as soon as it was clear they were right out. In the three years, gas has gone up, but their prices have not. Just called CS and found the number on this site, and the lady was very nice and helpful. At the same time I was nice to her as well. Many times it is helpfun to be a good customer if you want them to be a good service provider. I would highly recommend this company.

Best trash company in Denver

Three years ago I started off with the main trash company in the area. Then I transferred to the second well known company after not getting my trash dumped everytime. Then transferred to Pro Disposal because of the better prices. They are awesome. They come early in the morning. They take just about everything I put out on the curb. After all that they return my garbage cans up to the side of the house. WOW. This was great. Also during the big snows my trash is the only one picked up in the neighborhood because they all use the other companies. Wouldn't trade them for anything else.

Not too pleased any longer

Started out being very pleased with this trash company; however that is changing the longer we keep them as a trash service. There have been times when they have left trash on the street in front of our house. Where supposed to credit our account for a week's worth of service when they didn't pick up and didn't. Finally, today, after 4 months they took gave the credit. I will be changing our services at the end of the service date.
- Pros: Pick ups are on time in the mornings
- Cons: Leaving trash and not providing credits on a timely basis
Great Service

Our HOA in Lone Tree, CO recently switched to Pro Disposal and we have been very happy with the service. They arrive early so we have to make sure our trash is out a little before 7. It's been nice to not have trash out on the curb all day. The woman who picks up our trash could make it an olympic event. My 2 year old son and I watch her throw the trash into the truck at lightning speed and she's the driver too. She never leaves any mess/trash behind and always sets the pails back into place. She's always waves to my son too...bonus :)
