Do Not Stay Here
by PolishPrince
The people who wrote the positive reviews for this hotel must be on the Marriott's payroll. My stay at this Marriott was horrible. The room was tiny, the service was poor, and the cost was very high.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Service, cost, room size
Wonderful Denver Stay
by ambrosgela
The Marriott downtown is a great place to stay. The restaurants are good, the proximity to the 16th Street Mall is outstanding and the rooms aren't too bad at all. The valet service was a bit slow and the shower in the room was tiny, but we had a romantic getaway that was second to none at the Marriott.
- Pros: Close to the 16th Street Mall.
- Cons: Tiny Showers
A downtown hotel catering to corporate travelers with rooms designed to meet business needs.

The Scene
This hotel combines a great downtown location with good service and comfortable, amenity-filled guest rooms. More than 25,000 square feet of versatile meeting space and professional event and meeting planners make it a popular venue for conferences.
The Details
Of the 613 accommodations, 300 are the chain's signature "Rooms that Work." These have been specifically appointed for business travelers. The meeting facilities are fully equipped and offer the latest in audiovisual equipment. Additional conveniences include on-site secretarial services, a Continental Airlines desk and a Hertz Rental Car desk. Restaurants include Allie's American Grille and the Great Divide Lounge. In addition, the hotel is minutes from some of Denver's best eateries. While business travelers make up the majority of the clientele, leisure travelers will find their needs met with a knowledgeable concierge, child care and laundry services.
Best in town!

The hotel was an absolute dream to stay in. I stayed at the hotel for several weeks during my recent relocation to Denver. Now my family and I enjoy staying downtown when we want to just get away. Great healthclub (individual tv monitors on all the equipment), great indoor pool, and high speed and wireless throughout hotel.

Gold Medal Hotel

Genuinely friendly! Staff always puts their best foot forward when delivering service - from the valet thru the f/d at checkout. Checking in is quick and painless - They don't keep you there long unless you want to hear about the amenities. Recently renovated - ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - Very clean, comfortable beds, everything worked in room as well. Went to a reception on Wednesday night in concierge lounge with the GM and other Managers has a huge impact with guests visiting - very personable. Overheard that Head Chef has prepared functions at Mr. Marriott's house! Excellent, first rate food! Great work out area, too. Located within walking distance to everything! Paid $149.00 and was well worth the rate.
- Pros: service, Genuinely friendly, Location
- Cons: Only has valet prkng
Holy Cow, what a City Center
by kevin_duncan
Marriott City Center in downtown Denver is second to none with all of its service and personnel. I have stayed here a couple of times and always receive the VIP service that Marriott is known for nation wide. There recent renovation of their guest rooms is amazing, not to mention the new BAR!
