Great Time

I went to this bar last friday night, and I had a blast. I had a drink called a gatorade..it was so good. the atmosphere and people were great. I will be going back again and again.

• Pros: Great drink, awesome prices, good people
• Cons: Horrible bathroom

Great after the game

So the Grizz is cheap on some nights, filled with drunk college kids on others, always packed after Rockies games and they occasionally have music. If you are into it...it is good. If not, a migraine awaits.

Located near Coors Field and the heart of LoDo, the Grizzly is one of the few constants in one of Denver's fast-changing areas. The Grizzly's Old-West decor belies the scene inside: young college types and coeds. The happy hour and nightly drink specials are arguably the best anywhere within a 50-mile radius. The grub is about what you'd expect: chicken fingers, burgers, subs, and some south-of-the border options.

Kick Ass Bar

Mad Props to Brian, Lindsey, Allegra and the rest of the Giggling staff. Always go here for the great drink prices, chill crowd and stellar waitstaff. I've been here every night of the week (sometimes in the same week) and no matter where we go, it's always agreed to start, and often end at Giggling. Don't count out the food either, one night I was starving and ordered a cheeseburger and rings and was pleasantly surprised. Don't Miss Saturday: Best Hip Hop DJ's you will hear in all of Denver.

• Pros: Great Drink Prices, Waitstaff Friendly, Atmosphere
• Cons: No Area to Dance, on Saturdays

Whats there to giggle about

Always crowded, too crowded for dancing so I don't know where the dancing takes place and the wait staff take way too long and the prices are O.K but its a popular place and there are a good amount of singles there a good place for pregame but not all night.

Well, I am now full time living in Denver (previously back and forth between LA, San Diego, and Denver) and living downtown. I was getting really sick of walking into these cookie cutter bars that all seemed the same. A friend told me to go to the Grizzly on a Wednesday, it was packed and the crowd was really into the music (not completely my scene though). The Bartender told me to come back any other night, so I did the next night. What a difference, if in Denver do not skip over this bar, it is a blast. My hats off to the staff! You guys really make the bar! Thanks so much Grizzly, I will be your new regular.

Downtown's only underground neighborhood

This has become my playground. Not only is the service the best in town! There is NEVER A COVER! On top of that, the Grizzly has the best drink specials (especially happy hour) in ALL of downtown. While many bars come and go down here everyday, it is the good ones that have stood the test of time. The Giggling Grizzly is definatley the OG of downtown. You got to love this place!

Look no further

If you are a transplant to Colorado and miss your local watering hole. Well, look no further! The Giggling Grizzly is approx. 6 miles from my house (with 4 bars within walking distance of my front door), yet it is still the bar I choose to go to any night of the week. Especially over some of the other bars where a fight is to be expected in a night (which brings those clients as well). Keep it Grizzly, you are not unappreciated.

Havin' A Good Time

Not just a "college" bar...the post-college crowd likes to hang out too, so please don't just advertise for the college kids. Widespread Wednesdays are a blast and the live music is always good. Plus no cover charge, very nice!

Always a great time

whatever night you pick to head on down to the grizzly (for Panic night to HOUSE Saturdays, or from the Bacardi girls laying with you on Friday nights to the unmatched THURSDAY! This night is hands down a Denver steady, always packed, always fun. This night can only be understood by coming down on Thursday nights.
