Tam and his coworkers are amazing at what they do!!! If you want a family owned restaurant to enjoy, you should definately check it out - You can always go somewhere else that is over advertised and underated thats up to you. Coodo's to you Sushi Han my favorite restaurant in Denver...
Pros: Family Owned Establishment
Cons: Parking

There are many other sushi places to check out. The atmosphere was cheap, the service terribly slow, unattentive and uninterested in getting a tip. The sushi was nothing to brag about, and pricing did not fit the lackluster quality. Sushi Den is a wiser choice.
Pros: downtown location
Cons: just not worth it.

I went with a couple of friend for a pre-comedy show dinner. The selection was ok. None of the rolls were anything out the ordinary. The spicy tuna roll was more like the citrus tuna roll. No spice. Eel was just ok. (which was too bad since it had great color!) White tuna had a nice taste to it. The edamame was a very generous portion with a nice amount of salt. Service was good and the waitress was pleasant. She appeared when we needed her so that was a plus. They did tend to wait till most of our sushi was ready before serving. Since we had ordered a lot that could have been disastrous, but luckily they were moving pretty quickly. The décor is neat, and the hidden in the corner location is always fun. I agree that there are other better locations, and it was pretty pricey!
Pros: cute location, friendly server
Cons: bad spicy tuna, limited variety

Small, but pretty nice inside with very affordable prices. Service was a little bit slow but worth the wait for the California rolls!
Pros: Not crowded
Cons: slow service

My girlfriend and I went to Sushi Han for her birthday. We were a little apprehensive about going given some of the negative reviews on this site. Fortunately, we had a wonderful experience. We found the service to be excellent and the prices to be very reasonable. We had several different rolls and a bottle of wine and walked out with a bill of about $55. I had also read that the quality of the food was nothing special. I would say that it is just as good as any where else in the Denver area. We have frequented Sushi Den, which is often regarded to be the place to get sushi in Denver, for the last time. Sushi Han has a better atmosphere, is great for a date, and the quality of the sushi is better than average. The shrimp tempura and spicy salmon were excellent. The spicy tuna, my favorite, left a little to be desired. It would also be nice if they had a website. Nevertheless, we will be going back when it comes time for sushi!
Pros: Downtown, great atmosphere, reasonably priced

I give Sushi Han ONE star only because there was no half star option. Sushi Han was the absolute worst sushi experience I've ever had. The place is cool; beautiful ambiance, nice colors, easy on the eyes, however, that's the only "good" that Sushi Han has to offer. I went for a birthday lunch and ended up walking out, hungry and angry. The service was pretty much non-existent. We had 3 waitresses walk past our table repeatedly without stopping by to say hi, or to take a drink order. We had to literally stop one and ask her to please take our order. She didn't write anything down, so none of the drinks were right when they were brought out 15 minutes later. An hour and a half into it and 2 out of 7 people had been served cold food. Later, our sushi made a short cameo - totally the wrong order, cold, unpleasant looking and smelling and to top it off they use Krab in their California Rolls. Ugh! I can buy that at 7/11. Sushi Han is the worst sushi a person can buy. Don't bother - there are too many great sushi restaurants in Denver to waste your time and patience with Sushi Han.

I went to order take out on a Friday afternoon. The place wasn't very busy so I placed my order. The person who took my order did not tell me how long it was going to take. After waiting 15min. I asked them how long was it going to be. They said another 5 min., which was true. I brought the sushi back to eat. After opening the box and seeing the color of the fish it didn't look fresh. I decided to try it anyways. I was right it did not have a fresh taste to it. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor will I visit again. There are several other places that serve amazing sushi in the Denver area.
Cons: Service, freshness of sushi

Compared to other sushi places in the Denver area (E.g. Samurai, off Arapahoe, and that pretentious place in Parker) this is outstanding. Bonus: The owners are great company if get the chance to engage them.
Pros: Atmosphere, location, food quality

Incredible sushi and great attention to detail in the presentation, the service, the atmosphere! The dragon and lion roll cannot be beat. Baked mussels are also terrific.

I went on a pre-blizzard Wednesday night, not many patrons, so the service I found to be okay. The sushi was good, I ordered the Dragon Roll, salmon nigiri, and spicy tuna, all were fresh tasting and of good quality. I also had a side of the seaweed/cucumber salad, yum. All in all, a pleasant and quiet dinner. I suppose service here depends on how crowded and busy the place is....
Pros: good sushi, fresh
Cons: n/a
