AGREED: Denver's Best Chinese!!

Denver's Best Chinese! Great egg fu yung and an awesome lunch menu. The staff is friendly, and the service is super quick. The restaurant is not that tastefully decorated, but it is great for some Capitol Hill people-watching. There are lots of 'characters' who come into Great Wall, and they are usually from the shady side of life. BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT THE FOOD. They deliver too! This is the best Chinese restaurant in Denver, and even in surrounding areas.

• Pros: The price and food quality
• Cons: It's messy on the inside. Best to order take out or get delivery.

Denver's Best Chinese!!

I used to live right across from this place. It was the best! It's the only thing I miss from the area! I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family when asked. I have recommended to several friends and all have become loyal customers as well. When we plan parties we contact Great Wall to provide the food! I wish they had a larger delivery area.

BEST OF THE BEST

I have been using their delivery services ever since the day I moved into the Baker District. They are BY FAR the best deal in town and OHHHHHH so yummy! I am VERY picky about the way my Chinese food is prepared and they have never faltered. Always timely and NEVER get the order wrong. Even give me a "little extra" at times. If you had bad luck with them, try again because it is by far the best you will find in the Denver area.

I have turned at least 2 dozen people on to them, including servers and bartenders at my local pub, who now order their Chinese food exclusively from them as well.

It doesn't get any better than this!

Best thing they have is the Sesame Chicken and Crab Chese WonTons... Oh boy, my mouth is watering now!!! TIME FOR LUNCH!

I love this place!

This has been my favorite fast chineese restaurant for years, almost comparable to PF Changs..The employees are wonderful and they deliver my food with love!

Yummy Chinese Take Out

Great Wall rocks! I've been ordering from them for years and they've never let me down. Try their Pepper Steak and Onions. Yum!

Worst take-out

My wife and I live in Lower Highlands and we are "dying" to find a good Chinese take-out. One Sunday evening we called Great Wall Rest. based on City Search review. The host was really rude over the phone and impatient with our order. Part of the frustration may have been due to the fact that I had to ask the host to repeat confirmation of the order a few times. Frustration led to the host being really short and almost yelling over the phone. Should I say more....?

• Cons: rude take-out service

Good if your hungry and low on cash

Great Wall has never let me down in the past, the portions are huge and the food is pretty good. You do get sick of it pretty fast if you eat it constantly but if you limit it to once or twice a month its pretty good. I recommend the General Zao's chicken.

My order was wrong, the lady was rude, I ordered the missing portion of my order from Thai Basil and won't call back again to Great Wall.

The girl making the wonton by hand cleans her nose and doesn't wash her hands.

The saw the girl rolling the wontons, clean her nose and thenput her hands right back into the wontons without washing them. GROSS! She did this right in front of customers so I can only imagine what happens when no one is looking.

Cheap, delicious, convienient

I like Great Wall because it is one of the few places to get good, convieniet, reliable delivery in the neighborhood. I've never had to wait long and the food is always good. The restaurant itself is kind of a dive and there are some shady people usually on the corner so I would only recommend delivery or pick-up.
