My wife and I visited the Burnsley Restaurant, by chance, on a Monday evening after our first choice for dinner didn't work out. We were pleased to find free, covered parking within easy reach of downtown and a casual dress code as we hadn't intended to dine at such a nice establishment on short notice. We were amazed to find impeccably prepared food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was one of relaxed elegance, the service was excellent, and as for the cuisine, it was truly the first 5-star quality meal we've had since the Normandy closed. And the dishes were priced at under $20! We are going back tonight!

  • Pros: 5-star cuisine, free parking, Entertainment Card

This place is so nice. If your tall you might have a bit of a harder time but its a good location. It's by Cherry Creek North. They have wonderful chef's. They are just so sweet. Their crab cakes are spectacular. I think you would love this place. Sadly if you go their in the fall or winter their pool is closed since they only have a outdoor pool.

I am a Traveling EscortCompanion and i travel all over the US to different cities For business and wanted a nice hotel with a reasonable price and i found the burnsley website through a hotel website and thought this would be a great place for my stay in the Denver area and seemed upscale enough for my Incall location(where my clients come to me)Until i set up an appointment with a client and on his way up to visit me at my room he was stopped by the front desk and asked what room he was going to,for his id and to sign in and this is not good for the clients seeking a "Discreet Encounter" as this would make a client feel uncomfortable and very bad for the Escorts business...What does it mattrer who is comming and going to visit a hotel guest as long as nobody is making any trouble Why stop visitors to the hotel?I can appreciate the security of the hotel for the sake of the saftey of the hotel guests but come on this really messed up my week of work for my stay in denver.I would not Recommend this hotel for visiting escorts who plan to use as a place for hosting an incall location or for clients looking for a discreet encounter.Escorts i recommend the hilton, the sheraton hotel and hyatt ect if you need an upscale location to host your incalls as i have stayed in those places many times and never experienced this type of problem. All in All i thought this hotel was nice with helpful, friendly staff, excellent shuttle service and a very nice lounge that plays live jazz on different nights of the week.I actually liked the older style rooms that the burnsley hotel offers better than the top chain hotels. This would be a #1 repeat choice hotel for me every time i returned to visit this area if not for my experience with this place and what my visiting client had to go through.I do recommend this hotel just not for Escorts and their clients as a discreet location.I would of gave it a 5star if not for that situation...What more can i say it's a nice hotel.

I was originally booked at a "chain" hotel downtown. The hotel overbooked and sent me to The Burnsley Hotel. I could not have been more pleased. This hotel is a gem, I have stayed all over the country and I have never had such service. The hotel staff is friendly and polite, they are not stuffy like other hotel staff. They are personable and actually remembered my name. That's service!! My room was huge, not like a typical hotel at all and the views were amazing. I am done with the chain hotels. I have found my hotel in Denver!!!!

  • Pros: service, free parking, rooms
  • Cons: none

I stayed at The Burnsley for a getaway weekend. Everything was perfect, the rooms are spacious and clean. The price for what you get is great. The service in the hotel was top notch. When we checked in there was some confusion about my reservation, but the front desk agent was quick to resolve it and was more than helpful with nearby restaurant information. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service that many other hotels don't offer. I highly recommend this hotel.

  • Pros: staff, room size, shuttle service
  • Cons: can't think of anything

We stayed here after a Christmas party and it was awful. During check-in, the woman at the front desk was on the phone and didn't say ONE WORD to us. The room cannot properly be explained in 2000 characters. It was gross. I wish I had flip-flops for the shower. For $99/night, I would at least like I full length mirror. The website for The Burnsley is completely misleading. The pictures must be of a different hotel. I needed a shower after I took a shower. Don't stay here.

  • Pros: not a one.
  • Cons: Everything about this place is a con.

The Scene
Built as an apartment house in 1963, this building was later converted into a popular hotel and jazz club. In 1983, it was completely remodeled into a European-style boutique property. It has an experienced staff and elegant facilities, and is ideally suited for business meetings, events and weddings.

The Details
This 15-story lodging features 700-square-foot suites decorated with English-style fabrics and furnishings. They include expansive living rooms and desks equipped with voice mail and data ports. Full kitchens have adjoining dining rooms, and separate master bedrooms come with king-sized beds and private balconies. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool on-site, and complimentary passes to a nearby fitness center are available. Service at the Burnsley Restaurant is exceptional.

One of the best places I've stayed in the entire country and I travel all the time. The hotel has great ambience and reminds me of some of the European boutiques I've stayed in overseas. The staff is very poilte and they all have great knowledge about everything to do in the city outside of the usual touristy stuff. They all have a hip attitude unlike some of the larger and stuffier hotels downtown. The rooms are like staying in an apartment and the view is the best of any hotel in the city. I couldn't reccomend it more highly.

  • Pros: Free parking, Chauffer service, Great staff
  • Cons: Pool decor

An older hotel, but very nice. Spacious suites make you feel at home. We stayed for just one night, but the kitchenettes and floor plans could make for a comfortable long term stay. Quiet and personal. Tastefully decorated.

  • Pros: value, quiet
  • Cons: no gym on site

Most wonderful hotel I've stay at. All rooms are suites, with kitchen included. On-call shuttle, friendly and professional service. Centrally located to downtown Denver, best of all, free parking!

  • Pros: all rooms are suites, on-call shuttle, free parking
  • Cons: bar closes too early, no gift shop, pool ambiance
