decline of a great restaurant

What used to be a great place for greek food has become a restaurant where the staff doesn't concern itself with the quality of the food and the owners don't seem to care what the staff is doing. Its sad; this was the go-to place for gyros. Used to be busy all the time, now its usually deserted.

Don't go for the atmosphere

The food is the star at all Pete's restaurants and this is no exception. However you will not be disappointed! The gyro's are fab and the service is quick. My advice would be to order to go! Get in, grab your food and head for a better setting to enjoy your food.

• Cons: Dumpy, dingy, dirty inside

Outstanding Greek Food for Denver

Very pleasant staff and tasty food. Every app and entree that I've ever tried has been excellent. In particular, I recommend the Shrimp Santorini appetizer. Excellent Greek salad (may want dressing on side as it is a lost), Gyro sandwiches, Gyro platters and chicken kebob sandwiches. Of course, the pitas and tzatziki

are great. You will not be disappointed at Pete's..

great food, greek veggie pocket was wonderful.

have eaten here different times of the day and found that early evening is a good time very nice waitresses, the food was great. There is a parking lot out back I will now be a regular here.

A surprise location that is very down to earth and down to earth food.

Someone suggested this location and surprisingly, I went back several times. Don't get dressed up, but go there hungry and enjoy some great food.

• Pros: Just down to earth food and service
• Cons: Parking might be a problem, but have not had the problem ourselves.

Gyros Heaven

This place has the best Gryos I've had anywhere in Denver. And I truly love the people (Brooke and all the other fabulous chickies).
