I hate to tell people about this place because it's crowded enough already. I am the world's expert of chicken wings and my husband of burgers, and this is best place for both. Good prices, even better food, and more beer than you know what to do with. The people watching is great since it's the closest thing to a dive bar you can get in the uppity Cherry Creek area. No pretension here! Seriously, we've gotten all our friends hooked and we don't even live nearby!

Pros: food, beer selection, fast service

Cons: sometimes the pitchers of beer aren't the coldest when they come out

I can't saw enough about how much I love the Cherry Cricket. It's a very casual please to eat with a great beer selection, amazing burgers and perfect green chili. This place is perfection.

Pros: The staff, burgers, frings, green chili, and beer

Cons: None...

A down to earth crowd in the heart of Cherry Creek. Is it possible? Yes! Nothing fancy, nothing over priced just good food, drink, and crowd. Haven't tried the burger yet, but the wings were fantastic. I like going here to hang out with friends and kick back a couple. Everytime I am there, it's packed! That's a good thing of course....

This, by far, is the best burger in Denver. You cannot beat the price, either. Not once have I felt neglected by the Cricket wait staff. All in all, great value. There's a reason this place is famous.

I checked this place out a the other weekend because I heard about it on the news as having the best burgers in Denver. It was a Sunday evening and it was PACKED in this place. It took us a few minutes to find a table among the screaming children and the amplified conversations struggling to be heard over the music. The service was bad. Very slow & it was so loud in this place it was hard to place an order. I understand they were busy, so maybe another waiter or waitress on staff would have been a wise choice. However, I asked for a large ice water and that's what I got. It was HUGE! A+ on the drink sizes! I took one look at the menu and was seriously disappointed. The burgers, burger toppings and fries are all a la carte. I paid over a buck for a measly 3 thin slices of avocado to add to my burger & fries that ended up costing about $10 and I only got two toppings. The fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned, they tasted great! The burger was so greasy it was dripping through the bun which made the bun soggy. It was gross & messy but regardless of the mess, it did taste good. We sat at our table after we ate for what seemed like an eternity of our waitress ignoring us and after FINALLY flagging her down we were able to pay and get out of there. I don't see myself going back. If you're a rich Cherry Creek yuppie who thinks it's ok to spend $10 on a HAMBURGER and need somewhere to take your crazy children, this is the place for you.

Pros: The fries were good and the large drinks are LARGE!

Cons: Screaming children, bad service, bad ambiance, too expensive for what they serve, too crowded, too loud

I have been to the Cricket 3 times. I think the burgers are over rated. I find them to be too dry. Like chewing leather. I think to be dissatisfied 3 different times and to not have a good experience there, I will not be returning. I guess I just don't see what the deal is for best burger. I have had better burgers delivered via Mama Mia's.

Burgers, like pizza's are subjective things. One person may like a greasy, messy burger. Another may be about size or texture or what the burger comes with. All that said, I wanted to give the Cricket a try and I am glad I did. This restaurant has long had a reputation for one of the best burgers in the Denver Metro area and I can't say that I disagree. When we arrived, the place was packed. Even so, we were able to find a seat at the bar pretty quickly and were asked about drinks right away. We could have waited an additional 5 minutes for a table, but when the bar tender asked if we wanted to eat at the bar, we said sure! (the fact that my favorite baseball team was on the tube may have had something to do with the decision...) The burgers came quick and as ordered. They were hot and well prepped and I have to say I was very pleased overall. The atmosphere is boisterous there, so don't come for romance! But if you want good food and a fun time, the Cricket is a place to find it. I've read many of the older reviews and there was much made about the smoking there in days gone by. With Denver's no-smoking policy, this is no longer an issue, so don't let smoke be a concern!

Pros: Fun atmosphere, great food, excellent service

Cons: parking is a pain, it's pretty loud (which isn't a problem unless it bothers you!)

Don't get me wrong, the burger was awesome, and the beer selection is good. I was in the area with some time to waste, so I decided to pop in there for a bite eat. It was a good atmosphere and everyone was friendly. I ordered a simple burger with fries and one beer. I was quite impressed with the burger, but when the bill came, it cost me a whole Jackson ($20) after tip. All I had was a burger, fries, and one beer. Seemed a little pricey if you ask me. So I would definitely recommend this place, but I'm just kind of curious how they classify this as a "Cheap Eat" on Citysearch.

Great burgers, reasonable prices, good service, nightly beer specials, pool tables, relaxed atmosphere...The list goes on and on. This is a great spot and you have to be a nut job not to like this place.

Pros: burgers, beer, atmosphere

Cons: none in my book

Great burgers, never had anything that was bad. One of the best burger places in Denver. They usually also have specials on beer. It usually takes a while to get in, so give yourself some extra time.

Pros: great food

Cons: sometimes you have a wait to get in
