Awesome. Great restaurant in the Denver Area. It takes a little longer to get your food here but this is a great place for lunch or dinner and the service is always good. The apple streudel is excellent!  View Less View More

Great Authentic German Food. I've been around German food all my life and cook it at home often. If you're serious about Deutsche food, then this is your place. The schnitzel was crisp and tender (it's a butter fried veal cutlet folks, not a sausage) and I had it with potatoes and the best sauerkraut I've had in many, many years. The house salad (with genuine german dressing) , warm bread and a glass of Rhine wine is worth the trip by itself. Make sure you come very hungry! The service is a little slow (it's not a big restaurant) but very attentive and friendly. Don't order the Long Island Iced Tea, my girlfriend would've passed out after one! Make sure you have reservations.  View Less View More

great service, terrible food. I was so looking forward to trying out Cafe Berlin and the food was very disappointing. I didn't have to live in Austria for a year to know the food was just terrible. My Weinerschnitzel was lukewarm and tasteless. The meat was not tender and the breading was not crisp. The Knorr sauce on the dumplings was bland and overpowering. My friend's Paprickaschnitzel was equally flavorless and over-sauced. Our salmon appetizer was a hard chunk of something that probably was fish. The waiter was great and the hostess who kept checking on us was very friendly.  View Less View More

German authenticity. Cafe Berlin has long been a favorite of Denverites and it's easy to understand why. If you like German food, there simply is no other place in Denver to have it! The spaetzle is some of the best I have ever had, the bar is charming and the service/management is hospitable and charming. Although the menu isn't extremely varied, it does contain the usual schnitzels, beers and streudels. Definitely come hungry!  View Less View More

Best German food outside of Deutschland!. I lived in Germany for 4 years and was longing for some real german food. I tried other "european and german" resteraunts in Colorado but this one takes the cake! I have been there the past 2 years for my birthday with a large party and with a reservation they seat us no problem each time! This past time our waitress was the only one serving about six tables and still accomodated our party of 9 without any delay. The service was promt, and the food was fantastic! The owner of the resteraunat was even running outside putting change in the parking meters for people so they would not have to get up out of thier seats! I couldn't believe it! No other resteraunt in Denver would ever do a thing like that!!  View Less View More

If you like German Food You will Fall in Love with Cafe Berlin. Very thing about this place is GREAT!. The service is amazing you could not ask for a better wait staff. They will help you if you are unsure what to order. The food is amazing! The appitizers, main course, and then who has room for desert? The wine and beer selection are excellent. I traveled 5 hours to eat there and will do it again! I have reccomended it to everyone I know.  View Less View More

the only thing better is in Deutschland.... amazing, sehr gut. This place imported the finest German frauleins ever to cook a meal. If their smiles dont get you than the sauerkraut will. ++Oktoberfest on tap, what else could you ask for besides Claudia Schiffer cooking you dinner and taking you out on the town??  View Less View More

User review by astarnes. We frequent Cafe Berlin and it always wonderful. I do not think you could get a better meal at lunch for the price. I love the cucumber salad, and the sauerkraut is the best i have ever tasted. Even non-suaerkraut eating people like it! Not what your mom used to make. They are at a new location downtown but it is still much the same inside as far as decor. For good, authentic german food and consistent service you should try Cafe Berlin.  View Less View More
