Chai is amazing

I stopped here after a short walk from the mall. I was stoked to find that Bhakti chai is served! The best in my opinion. Cool music and the guy at the counter was helpful.

Unsanitary Food!!

Ordered the turkey/bacon sandwich to go. Got home and one of the pieces of lettuce was hanging out of the sandwich, so I pulled it out. Two whole, black, large beetles were sitting dead on the lettuce. I opened up the other half of the sandwich and there was another dead beetle. I have never, ever seen that on anyones food before. They must not have washed the lettuce before putting it on my sandwich. I have to assume the kitchen is very, very unsanitary.

i agree with another reviewer/ worker of java creek, the place is extremely gross n i advise no one to ever eat or drink anything from there.

the worst place in cherry creek

I tried this place because I wanted to find a nice neighborhood joint that wasn't a starbucks, but unfortunately I will never go back. All I wanted was a coffee and a couple plain bagels...the counter person asked what I wanted on the bagels and I repeated that I just wanted some plain, untouched bagels to take home with me. She got a confused and worried look on her face and went to the back. 10 minutes later I was starting to get really concerned, and that's when I saw the cook go into the walk in freezer and grab a bag of bagels. They then sliced and microwaved the bagels before handing them over to me.

Aside from the poor service and horrible food, the place is dirty.

Don't bother!!

Oh so charming!

What a great little place. You can sit on the patio and watch the day go by while sipping on a delicious cup of coffee. A perfect place to take a break from the rest of Cherry Creek!

Watch Out for Food Safety!

Having worked at Java creek for a time, I have serious worries about the food safety and quality. On more than one occation the owner displayed amazing lack of knowlodge in the way of health code requirements and his general lack of interest in public health lead me to leave my employment. Many of the pastries come from Sam's Club so they are fine but please be careful when ordering anything prepared on the premesis.

Not Starbucks and that's a good thing

Low key, good coffee and food selections. Breakfast foods are great, haven't tried lunch yet though.

• Cons: parking, some food items a little pricey

Everyone is welcome here, from young mothers with babies to long-distance cyclists; gay activists to teenage slackers. All share the sunny patio during the warm months and the funky tables indoors. The coffee and espresso drinks are good. Chai will cool and enliven spirits. The chow is healthy comfort food, with specials such as shepherd's pie, quiche and homemade knishes. There's also divine homemade scones: They're crumbly and crusty and melt in your mouth.

Very relaxing place.....

I have been looking for such a place in Denver. Great location, great coffees and food, serves breakfast all day, internet connection, awsome brunch on sundays, and above all the friendliest and most accomodating staff! What else do you want? I woul definitely recommend this place.

Unpretentious Haven in Cherry Creek

Good neighborhood coffee shop with great homemade quiches and burrittos. Love the outdoor seating on sunny Sunday's. Kid friendly. An unpretentious gathering space... rare in this neighborhood.
