Located in the upscale Cherry Creek shopping district, its look is dark & trendy but with a little bit of a warm glow - after all it's Italian-esque cuisine. I arrived ~5:30pm, so seating was easy and patrons were mostly families, but as the evening advanced the clientele evolved to couples, girls night out, and other hipsters starting the evening. The pasta I ordered was tasty & filling; the capellini special with gulf shrimp - but you know how it goes with shrimp, restaurants could always be more generous and I only got 4-5 shrimp. The light sauce was composed of capers, onions sauteed in tomato sauce. I think if I were to go again, I'd try a main entree, either the sage chicken or grilled pork chop, they with their sides sounded heartier. Though I did want a lighter meal that evening - they had run out of gelato which would have been a nice way to end the light pasta - oh well. Overall my experience was pleasant, and I can understand how this place could become a standby for locals. It does seem pricey for what you get. The place is a 2-5 min walk to the upscale mall, where you can easily catch a taxi cab (go towards Saks 5th Ave entrance).
Pros: Location, ambience
Cons: a bit over priced
