A local classic; highly recommend

I love this store. Every time I go, the staff is friendly and helpful, and even nice to my kids (although my 5-year-old is so terrified of the mechanical wizard they have, I think he's going to need therapy). They have a pretty wide selection, and it's rare I can't find what I need. If I'm having a hard time, one of the staff will invariably go out of their way to help out. Plus, I like supporting a local merchant by shopping here.

• Pros: Parking in back, excellent customer service, good variety
• Cons: Driving in Cherry Creek to get there, my kids never want to leave

In Short
One of Cherry Creek's oldest residents, this bi-level store has gags and gifts on the bottom floor and costumes and makeup up top. Each corner of the bottom floor is dedicated to a different theme: From magic and other performance-related wares to role-playing game paraphernalia and rubber collectibles. The top floor has costumes ranging from Julius Caesar to George W. Bush. An entire wall is dedicated to gruesome wounds and bloody scars.
