As I have looked through the responses to Jua Salon, I have observed that there is a crucial missing element to these accounts--the fact of the matter is that the only people employed by Jua Salon are the front desk people who bend over backwards to take care of every human being that walks through the door. The stylist, who are self-employed and simply rent a booth there, are some of Denver's most seasoned and successful veteran stylist in the area. The point that I am making is that if you have a problem with the front desk; it is unfair to look poorly on the stylist. Also, if there is one stylist who you do not click with; it is also unfair to put a sour name on anyone else assocaited with Jua Salon. People, please just keep this in mind, Thanks

I've been going to Michael for about fourteen years and he is the greatest with my curly, unruly mop. Now that I'm getting older (and he keeps getting younger), I need more color and he is an awesome colorist too. I always have fun and more importantly come out of the shop looking and feeling so much better. He listens and is a creative genius. Give him a try!

I have been going to Jua for about a year or so and I have to say if your looking for a great hair cut and a good color GO to michael. He really is good with the scissors and the color your looking for he gets on point. His blowdrys are not that good but other than that he's AWESOME!!! Be careful which stylist you go to there is a stylist in particular that did a horrible job on my hair. I asked for a caramel color and ended up with platinum blond, my cut was uneven and the way she blowdrys is lazy. Other than that Jua is an average salon.

Pros: parking,

Cons: certain stylists, front desk a little rude

I have been going to Jua Salon for several years now with no mishaps.The staff have always been friendly and at this point greet me by name and treat me like an old friend. Its amazing to me how just anyone can get on this type of a site and create highly exaggerated reviews both negative or positive. None the less some people just dont have anything better to do. Its unfortunate to see my hairdresser Patrick reviewed in such a negative light as I he makes me look fabulous on a regular basis. So much so that I have given him so many referrals that I got great discount on my last visit!! Thanks Patrick........I love my hair!!!!

I have been going to Jua for about two years, and I have found the perfect stylist! Her name is JoAnn (JoJo), and she does a great job! I have had her cut and color my hair, do hi-lights, and they were great. I have NEVER had a bad experience with her, and my hair always turns out beautiful! The salon is great, as well as the atmosphere. If you're in Denver, make sure to stop by Jua, and go see JoAnn!!

Pros: Ambiance, JoAnn, friendly service

Cons: Nothing!!

After gleaning other customer's posts, we see a mixed up bag of reviews. Though there aren't that many posts, these reviews would seem like much ado about nothing...or nobody special. We have since gone to LUXE in LoDo and are totally happy with the change. As for JUA, it is a great place owned by great people. maybe a greeter at the door would help.

WOW!!! I just moved from FL, and found the BEST Hair Stylist in Cherry Creek! I noticed the above comment and had to say that I really disagree with Misscherry. Patrick Grieder was very friendly and very tentative to my needs. Additionally, at no time has he ever been disrespectful toward his employer or his peers. Actually the way I see it, the entire staff of Jua Salon is one big happy family. From the receptionist to my new stylist - Outstanding work and very professional! It has been very hard to find a stylist in Cherry Creek / Denver that can use a straight razor without faking the funk!

Pros: Great Staff, Good Products, and CLEAN bathroom

Cons: Parking, but they do validate / Only open until 6PM

My first Experience will be my last. I took a friend to Jua to get her hair cut and styled. We both felt that the cut and style was rushed and way over priced. If you are charging $60 for a first time customer, I hate to think how much the regular clients pay for a cut and style. My friend was very unsatisfied with the results and felt very that everything was really rushed, which in my opinion is not worth $60. When they book appts., they should inform new clients how much the stylist charges, so that they don't waste their time and money to set the appt. I will never recommend this place to anyone, nor will my friend.

Tami is great! She's been doing my color for about 6 months now and I have never had a bad color cut with her! She won't let you do anything that will not look good on you! Trust me, I have dark brown natural hair when I first went in and was skeptical about getting blonde highlights but she did a perfect job! Everyone asks where I get my hair done so I thought I would put a shout out to Tami Ward. I'm going darker and I love it too! Still some lowlights but natural looking again! Nothing wrong here! In my opinion she's the Best! I've also had my nails done by Vicki and she's great too! I would go to her more but she's always booked when I get my hair done!! Luv ya Vicki...Luv ya Tami! YOU BOTH ROCK!!! :-)

Pros: great job, great location

Cons: she doesn't work weekends!

You know how important it is to get your color just right...Maral can tell you what colors would look right given your skin tone, etc. Maral has done my color and cut my hair for 13 years. I wouldn't trust anyone else and even when I lived 1.5 hours away for 9 years, I STILL went to her. Maral takes the time to make sure your cut and style is right, every single time. Want lots of compliments on your hair? Try Maral - she's worth every penny.

Pros: Maral is wonderful, free parking, great atmosphere
