I drive past at least 5 liquor stores to go to this establishment. My initial reasoning was to get a decent bottle of wine after 9pm. I found them on citysearch and rushed down there right before they closed. The ladies working that night were quite friendly and extra helpful. The Great American Beer Festival was that week and they were extra fired up and had fresh answers for my questions about the beers (even if they MUST have had a hangover from that weekend...). They also had the exact Rieseling I was looking for. More than I could ever say about any place on Colfax this far east. The prices weren't cheaper than anyone else, but the service made everything a great value. I keep coming back, if only to kibbits with the staff and get a decent beer for the house....
Pros: Outstanding service, friendly staff, thoughtful selection
Cons: always out of , Sierra Nevada, Pale Ale
