What happened to this place?

I had been going to three cutters for some time and used to really enjoy it as a salon. I'd been to a few of the stylists there but mainly saw Maria or Miriam, both do an excellent job and are very nice.. However whenever I had to change an appointment (with plenty of advanced notice mind you) or even just make one I often seemed to recieve some slack and attitude from the receptionist. After being a consistent customer for some time, I felt the level of customer service has really gone down as well as the condition of the salon. What is up with the floors, they always look dirty!

Anyhow I started feeling like my presence was a burden to the front desk, instead of welcomed. You'd think they'd appreciate their business like we apprecite them. While I enjoyed the hairstyles I got there I have since moved to another salon with a better atmosphere and attitude.

• Pros: Good haircuts, friendly hairstylist
• Cons: Rude receptionist, hard to get into

Miriam is so talented!

As a former hairstylist myself, I know what it takes to be a good stylist and Miriam has it. Her color work is phenomenal and her cuts hold their style a long time. Three Cutters on Pearl was recommended to me by someone whose haircut I admired and I'm glad I went. I had been to a couple of different stylists in Cherry Creek to try to get the haircut I wanted and didn't get, but Miriam got it right away. Plus, she's really a pleasure to be around! I think it's a great salon! I like being treated well, and they all make sure I am.

• Pros: Cozy, no tipping allowed (what a shock!)
• Cons: Parking is sometimes at a premium

Overrated!

I went to Miriam for almost 2 years, so, my review is based upon many visits. I finally got fed up with the sloppiness and rudeness. The salon is a dump and I really don't get how they think they can charge such high prices.

• Pros: You can think you're cool if you go there
• Cons: Sloppy and rude treatment of a former long-term customer

Great service, staff, and atmosphere - best I've found in Denver!

I have tried SO many different stylists in Denver...until I found Miriam @ 3 Cutters a couple of years ago! She is SUPERB...great at truly listening & giving you what you really want as your style. On top of that, she's fun & really cares about her clients. She goes above & beyond to accommodate clients & ensure they're 100% happy with their experience and hair. Literally, all my friends I've sent to her have switched to her as their stylist permanently & adore her like I do. I can't recommend her highly enough...you have to experience her service and skills yourself to truly appreciate what she has to offer as a hair professional. Go see her ASAP - you won't be disappointed *at all*!

• Pros: a real no-tipping policy, Miriam, great service, Aveda products, no pressure to buy products
• Cons: If you need evenings or weekends, you have to book out way in advance.

Consistent Qualtiy

I wouldn't rate a restaurant based on one visit so as a long time customer of Three Cutters, "consistent quality" is what I have experienced every time. I've been a customer through an owner and stylist change, and would never think of allowing anyone outside the Three Cutters family to touch my head.

The stylists always pay attention to my needs (I have frizzy, thick, naturally curly hair, BLAH!) and listen to what I like and don't like. The services and salon are classy, hip and elegant - never the snobbery we all know many salons seem to strive for. As a budget conscience lass, I trust 100% any stylist that would actually talk me OUT of getting a cut, stating that my hair was healthy and that since I wanted to grow it out I didn't really need one.

A high-end, full service salon in a quiet neighborhood with consistent quality services and consistent pricing?what more can you ask for? This team rocks the old school and the new.

• Pros: Flexible evening and weekend hours
• Cons: Generally books up FAST. Make appointments at least a month out.

Absolute Nightmare

All these other reviews must be some kind of paid advertising! These "hair stylists" have no clue what does hair styling mean, no technique whatsoever. It is way overpriced for the service. A haircut that last 30 min - I don't know who can pull that - including a 5 minute massage - have it separately. The result - the worst haircut and most expensive haircut I ever had.

First of all, I like this salon. I've always gotten great service BUT I couldn't justify the cost. I've since gone to other hairdressers, one in Cherry Creek, and paid less for a great cut and color that I would have paid significantly more for at Three Cutters. Over hyped as far as I'm concerned.

Bettina Rocks!

I had my hair done (cut and highlights) by Bettina and LOVED it!! I was a little nervous at first because she has the least amount of experience of the stylists working there, but as it turned out, I will be going to her all the time. She is adorable, funny, and a hair wizard!! GO!

I just got the BEST haircut and highlights from the new stylist, Bettina, at Three Cutters! This is probably my favorite haircut and color job ever. She may be young, but she knows her stuff!! Plus she is sweet and cute as a button. I will definitely be going back to her!!

Look no further for great style...

I have to say that my loyalty is to a great stylist is due to finally finding someone who knows hair. For years and years I would go to different stylists and nothing seem to satisfy me. I have very thick hair and not everyone knows how to cut thick hair. I would end up with cuts that I hated, wouldn't lay right and were never fashion forward designs. When I met Lesley I was at the point where I stop going to salons and started dying my own hair (very bad choice to make) but with much patience and pursuasion she has molded me to the style that I have always wanted. She listens and suggests great cuts and color and is always willing to do different things. New styles she has learned and suggested she has never lead me in a direction that I did not want to go. I think Lesley is phenominal and really takes pride in what she gives her customers. I know she is great stylist when she can cut my hair which is long and think and then give my mother a great hair cut too and her hair is very thin and short. It is hard enough to find someone who you trust enough to do your hair but to find someone who allows you to relax while she does her work is a rare find. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lesley and Three Cutters. The salon is fun and the people who work there have great personalities it makes a couple hours pleasurable and time goes by fast!
